In this Josh Talks, Harini Sivakumar shares her entrepreneurial journey of starting the personal skincare brand Earth Rhythm. Earth Rhythm is today a 200 Crore company that she started at age 35. She started the brand and grew it completely through digital marketing. She acquired all the important skill sets like graphic designing, and digital marketing that are required to grow in today's digital age. She also went ahead with starting in-house manufacturing in her business. Harini says that while growing Earth Rhythm, angel investors often talk about her background if she has been an alumnus of IIT or IIM but even without any top-tier college degree Harini built a multi-crore business.

I found this fact interesting, that this big brand, this successful business has its roots in the desire of a mother to take care of her son ‘in a much better way’. And lo! Look what all paths this desire took her to!

I had the same experience when my house chore helper was a graduate and was very fluent in English. I felt she should get a very good job and referred her to a school and today she is in a very good position.
I agree if we are educated and understand the value of education, we can push so many girl children or housewives who are thriving to build their careers or are stuck somewhere but don't know how to proceed.
