I'm 16, but do you have any suggestions for studying eight courses in less than a week, even when it's difficult? You inspire me as a junior in high school.
thank you! its so unfair because in our school we have to do religious GCSE (which is mandatory because its a religious school) in year 10 :( which is just so stressful
I'll need it to get through writing a 2hr 15min English literature paper, with an essay about inspector calls, the comparison for the power and conflict poetry, and the unseen poetry (I hate doing the poetry anthology, unseen is more bearable)
Are you possibly a mind reader, Jade? I have my exams in two weeks and I have to study for two subjects that I ABSOLUTELY hate. I really needed this video. Thank you! 🥰💖
I’m currently learning Japanese and absolutely HATE reading in the language and the grammar but it’s crucial for understanding so building tips that help you get through material you hate is beyond helpful. I’ll definitely be using these tips starting with that spreadsheet 💛
I've been learning Japanese for 5 years now and i would like to give a small tip. If you wanna enjoy japanese, watch a lot of Japanese content which will help you get immersed in the language (which is really enjoyable and very important whole learning a language) AND speak a lot, even if you don't know much you need to start making an effort to speak and there are dedicated discords servers for that (JP classroom and English-Japanese Language Exchange) Learning or more like text book learning will only help you understand concepts but if you don't listen (get used to the lang) and speak, it's of absolutely no use, i think it'd only help if you wanna read Japanese literature or anything of that sort. Never keep the mindset that oh once I learn the grammar and stuff i will be able to speak, cause you will not be able to speak. Even if you don't know much Japanese get out there and start speaking, it is so important.

Jade!!! You’re incredible!!! I can’t believe how long you’ve been doing UA-cam and how consistently good all of your videos are!! Like, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into each of your videos and I don’t know how you manage it, but you seem like you genuinely want to help every single one of your viewers even if you don’t know any of them personally! Just so positive, motivational, kind, and real! I love how you admit your struggles, and how you romanticise life without falling into toxic positivity and accepting bad days, mood, burnout, stress of life etc. You’re so authentic, i so want to have you as a friend, and I want to be as good of a friend as you to someone else. Hope that you know that you’re loved, and you make a difference in people’s lives! You’re such an inspiration without even trying to be. Keep being amazing, and best of luck to you in any aspect of your life! ❤️

Hi Jade! I bought your book recently and it’s really helping me in preparation for my gcse’s especially the memorisation tips and also helping me to understand how to best use the education system to better myself and not just for good grades which really motivates me so thank u so much! You really are amazing and help us all so much! :)
I have my accountancy final in a month and I've been doing reeeaaalllly bad in that subject so I made a whole timetable and planned how I'm going to prepare and do well in that exam. But I was super scared to start because Im afraid of failing again, despite putting in efforts. I really needed to see this. Thank you Jade

i feel like i saw this video at the perfect time... i had a bunch of back-to-back chemistry exams which left me on the brink of burnout along with pretty bad allergies and i sort of lost motivation to leave my bed. talked to my professor and she was nice enough to allow me to make up the test a few days later, giving me a much-needed time to relax. thank you so much Jade, i will definitely be following your techniques before i get back on track to begin studying again!
I highly recommend your channel to my students and urge them to customise the suggestions you offer for their student life. Thank you for all the amazing content, Jade ❤
I simply love you, Jade. I discovered you recently. I've always been a good student with high grades, but recently I started having anxiety issues. This school year, I've had anxiety attacks, every day during the 1st Semester. I started hating school, studying. But now, I'm falling in love with it again. Thanks to you.

THANK YOU! 🎉
This is the exact moment I needed this video. I am currently studying for my Abitur exams (german equivalent to A-levels) this week and I've been struggeling a lot with chemistry and german literature the last couple of days. You gave me the motivation to put in the effort one last time!!
This is exactly what I needed today. I’m finishing up my final year at uni and have hit a massive rut despite loving what I do, and you’ve inspired me to look at it in a fresh light 🥰
This was released in the perfect moment. I am currently taking Accounting II and I find it so hard and nonsense that I just put off the work, also I see all my classmates just acing the course and seems embarrasing to seek for help, but this video motivates me to ask for guidance :)
Thanks, Jade. I am a high level classical pianist who at times struggles with motivation to practice. Depression got in the way for a while, making me dread approaching the piano. So I tell myself I love the piano, I adore music, and I want to make pretty music and enjoy playing. This has shifted the attitude and then the results so that I am once again looking forward to playing. I am also relaxed and don‘t react negatively when I make a mistake. I am seeing a big positive difference, and then I watched this video, which has reinforced my action plan!
This is such a good video! There are jobs, aspects of jobs, and even life that you won’t life that you will need to push through or change if it isn’t working for you. I think to many 0-12 teachers (and professors) miss the opportunity to show real life applications or lessons that can be learned from subjects, successes, and challenges/failures in school.
Jade, this video came just in time! 😭😭 I’ve been struggling and your videos always motivate me to keep going even when it’s hard, and especially when it’s hard. Thank you so much!!
Tuning in here because I am in my first semester at university and I have two subjects that require graphic design, creating maps and accurate digital plans of spaces using geographic information systems (GIS), illustrator and autoCAD. I have never worked with any of these before and feel a lot less confident in working with them compared to many of my coursemates. With assignments coming up and slowly becoming more complex, I really want to turn my mindset towards growth, confidence and practice with these tools regularly so that I get better at them. I know I can and it will be an important skill later down the line, because visual communication is key in spatial planning. So I am holding myself accountable here to work consistenly on two assignments that are due the 13th of January.
To be honest, I don’t watch your videos in which you talk about studying very often because I’m often a bit scared of learning new things. But, if I convince myself to watch a video you created, your joy of life just jumps on me. I don’t know another person who can do that, thank you
I needed this so much. I’m doing chemistry at uni and have fallen out of love with it. I keep telling myself that I’m gonna fail so this helped me get into a positive mindset. Thank you!
Girl, you're the blessing I asked for God. Seriously, keep doing these videos, because high school is the teenagers serial killer in Brazil. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I have my end of ks3 science exams tomorrow. They’re only small, but I’m just so worried that I’ll remember nothing from year 7 and fail completely. Your videos have been helping me so much, and thanks to you, I’m going to try and put my full work ethic into revising. :)
I really needed this vid!! I have A Levels this year and I'm really struggling with one of my subjects (english lit), even though I'm putting in a bunch of effort. I've had to learn the hard way that I just need to step back, take a break and ask for help when I need it. A Levels are carrying a bunch of stress for me, especially since I didn't do GCSEs because of covid. Good luck to anyone else having exams this year!!
Thank you. I was born in Buenos Aires, yet raised as a french. I managed to get a scholarship, because “no puedo pagarlo”… well, it just wasn’t going to stop me and waste their effort. So, thank you. And yes, all my english teachers were french. There’s nothing i can do about it anymore
During school I was nearly the best student in my grade for 11 years of studying, but when I hit 12 grade I got into an endless cycle of hating and procrastinating the subjects I was great in, and I failed last year and didn't entered my finals exams but this year I made and there's only 2 months to the finals but I hadn't studied nearly anything, I will do everything you said in this video and hope to get better and at least wrap some subjects before it's too late.
Are you possibly a mind reader, Jade? I have my exams in two weeks and I have to study for two subjects that I ABSOLUTELY hate. I really needed this video. Thank you!
Hi! I actually never really comment on videos, but I just wanna come up here and say that you’re honestly one of the most beautiful people i’ve ever met, inside and outside. Hearing you motivating and challenging us to do our best feels like sun on the skin, like a positive wash all over our souls. Thank you for your time and your effort. I hope you achieve everything you want in life! :)
Thank you Jade! I'm changing direction at 19 after dropping out of y12 (in lockdown) and completing a btec at predicted D*DD. I am now going back to A-Levels (at the only place I can) in a completely new direction to get where I want to. (To be clear, I know it's the right decision for me - also in my development as a person). I know it will require a lot of work but it's only too hard if I make it too hard - and now I can really understand your "struggle hard" catchphrase more. A little goal of mine is to make it harder for me to make good things more difficult (because it's so easy to lose track of time on phones & with distractions). Your channel is a treasure haven. Thank you!!! 😁😇and the little tips like telling yourself every morning that you'll get an A* sound like they're going to make a big impact on my progress.
Your point on admitting on actually trying rather than protecting ones ego That hit me SO HARDD fr made me cry and I feel like I just needed someone to tell me that Thank you so much Jade 😭😭😭
Jade. This video could NOT have come at a better time you are an absolute star! Thank you, you really motivate me and I’m sure this comment will be one of thousands saying the same but I really appreciate your effort in your videos! Thank you!! 🥰🌸🌿
i have a feeling this is going to be a very popular video thank you so much Jade! I just thought about some scary uni courses when seeing you uploaded! x
You are amazing 💗 I could feel your genuine love through the screen and when you said you validate my struggle it made me smile :) thank you and I love you
I would be fascinated to see your approach to reading academic papers. I am a science graduate working in industry and still have to read a lot of journals to keep my knowledge up to date, but sometimes it can be very boring and feels unnecessarily difficult to get through. But I would love to find ways of improving my abilities in this department ♥️!
I really appreciate your content, Jade. I have finals in like 2 days and it's been really stressful. But your videos always make me realise that I'm not doing this for anyone but myself. That it's a privilege to be able to recieve education. Really gets me motivated 💕
you are glowing and not only because of the sun :)) watching your videos and seeing how you grow and work hard in order to do that is so inspiring and it helps me so much. it always gives me the boost in energy that i need!! so thank you a lot for being here and sharing your beautiful energy. casual magic for today: this video
Thank you so much for this video! I find it very challenging to find motivation in my subjects that I don't like and so this video is so so helpful! Thanks a lot Jade ❤️
Hey! I just wanted to say thank you for your words. I'm changing high school because my main subject and the theacher have made my everyday life miserable. Unfortunately, I can't throws away the subject, but I try not to hate it and not to live as a failure for leaving that school. So yes, thank you because you made me think and calmed me down that I can changing my mindset just I have a little bit more time.
this is crazy, i agree with her like everything she said here i just wanna say its crazy that this is what exactly i wanna say to other people, im really glad and love her for making this vid, shes so sweet.. i love you
Hey, Jade! The points you made are great and practical! Personally, I deeply appreciated your pointing out intrinsic motivation as a fuel to cope with such struggles. Moreover, I would add that - regardless of the course or the circumstances- it may prove greatly beneficial to give some time to listen to ourselves and our genuine needs. E.g. in case one is suffering due to burnout or similar conditions, they may find any course irrelevant or not worth the shot in general...Taking a (short) break may allow one to restore their balance or even their passion and embrace a new functional / emotionally sustainable angle within their 'course' :))
U r so adorable, i’m just really amazed of the way u thinking. U really helped me with comprehending my mistakes in prep, and reminded me of my goal and that im capable of attaining this, By the way, in the moment when u say: “I am going to fail my english exam”, i felt like you was speaking directly to me. I was just in shock, cause that is the subject i am struggling, especially in reading. I’m a foreigner, and i’m going to take an ielts exam, because of my uni. I REALLY LOVE YOU, THANK U SM
Hi Jade, my sister ADORES your videos and has your book she loves studying and revising too and she never stops! She has started to recommend you to me and I now know why! Thank you so much
I just want to say to anyone thinking of quitting, it is also valid to do so. Jade touches on this briefly at the end of the video and it is so true. I dropped out of my maths degree last month as a first-year student and it was the best decision I ever made. I've never given up with my education before, and always worked extremely hard to achieve high grades. But I had to put my mental health first as I came to truly despise the subject in those 6 months I was at uni. Since dropping out, I've secured a summer internship that I'm really excited about and I'm starting to get my life back on track since hitting rock bottom at uni. As long as you can say you really did try to understand or like the subject, quitting is always a fair and respectable option.
This is the video I needed! 💕 Im starting the new Semester tmr and I checked out the subjects and noticed lots of math (which I hate) but know its gonna be easy! Tysm💕
My issue is that I have tackled all aspects of making the effort. I know why I want to achieve my goals I am interested in my subjects I get enough sleep / eat enough I even made a timetable for myself but I can't get myself to sit down and do the work ! I don't know what to do because I'm on the verge of failure and if I mess up my exams it'll be detrimental for the future of me doing this degree.
Tysm Jade for the video. You almost had me in tears when you said you validate my struggle. It got to me cuz I always struggle with programming even if i try my best for hours my peers seem to be doing better than me. It hurts. At times i cry but I'm trying.
For me it's because I am so angry at the teacher because I approached her with a question and she dismissed me, but I truly want to learn that language. And now I hate studying the materials she is giving us, even though they are extensive. Learning the vocabulary, I'm good. Learning the grammar she is giving, oh HELL NO! I just need to pass it and I'll learn the language later on properly
You're like my best motivator to start studying again! Im hoping that i could get in the university that i want this year. It's really hard for me, but i dont want to give up and will start again!! Thank youu
I'm currently learning JAVA Coding and absolutely find it difficult, but after watching your video i am motivated and ready to accept this challenge... Thanks for your Valuable advise. 😊
It's okay to quit!... It okay to quit being stupid!! Quitting has such a bad connotation but it's one of the best things I've done and has advanced me. Because when you quit certain things, you start doing things that are meant for you. Some things shouldn't be forced, no matter how bad we want them at the moment!!!
Hi there, I'd like to say that finally I've found someone to learn British accent and intonation without changing my natural tone much. I've learned intonation from some British female and male UA-camrs but when recording my voice imitating them it was so unclear, dramatic, and unnatural. But only you, I just recorded myself after you spoke a sentence and my voice sounded pretty fine compared to all my previous recordings.
wow! i really needed this video i'm in year 13 and i've been struggling with russian history for history a level and it's been really frustrating since it's the only thing dragging my grade down and preventing me from getting an a* (and an a because it's such a heavily weighted part of the course) i've been worrying that maybe i just made a mistake taking history to begin with and scared that it will hold me back from getting into uni hearing you talk about your own frustration with a level chemistry and the idea of making the spreadsheet has given me the motivation i needed to get back on it! i've decided to make my daily priority doing at least 10 russia flashcards a day (my flashcards are quite detailed lol) thanks :D
Thank you for this video! I think those steps are exactly what I need in my life. While I am fortunate enough to only study topics this semester that I am truly interested in, this video gives me even more motivation to engage in those topics! And I know exactly that there will be classes in my university that I will not like in future semesters. So I will hopefully come back to this video then and be encouraged by you again. My casual magic of today: I bought two very pretty plants from a person on my local ebay market, and I will hopefully have so much fun caring for them! Have a great day!
I have my G.C.E O/L exams in 2 weeks, and throughout my final years, your videos have been so useful and very motivating. Thank you for your awesome videos Jade
Oh English Language and English Literature, these two subjects are constantly being, like, I have no words. Thank you 💞 Jade for giving the tips for "murdering" them.
My igcse is in 4 days and as a year10 student I'm really nervous and not ready, actually scared ngl. I actually did this for my parents and to prove to my teachers that I can do it all myself but...idk if I can make it :( and I also find my parents discouraging me often which really makes me sad and wanna quit. But after watching ur vid this gave me some motivation, alot actually. Thank you for that and wish me luck :,)
Another great video, but what I like most about the English universities and A Levels, as compared to American universities and SATs, is that you don't have to study subjects you hate. The required courses outside of your major at American universities are simply there to make another year of money for the universities and/or the banks who give out student loans. The English educational system makes much more sense.
Taking the LSAT tomorrow and most of the test is reading comprehension of very dense science and philosophy, which I do not care for at all. Hoping this video helps me power through tomorrow for one last test and kicking its as*!!
I just started uni this year and I don't like any of the subjects I'm studying so it's more or less impossible to find that motivation cause there is no joy in doing it, it sucks
one of my most requested videos ever... ENJOY!! 💌 go smash it

So I am holding myself accountable here to work consistenly on two assignments that are due the 13th of January.
You always make tough subjects feel straightforward.
Thank you!
Heyyy Jade, I wanna thank you for the positive energy I always receive from your videos. Thanks a lot.
videonun sonuna kadar izledim ve sonda söylediğiniz zorluyorsa gelişiyorsun, yerinde sabit durmuyorsun demeniz beni etkiledi ve çok mantıklı geldi!
Girl, you're the blessing I asked for God.
Seriously, keep doing these videos, because high school is the teenagers serial killer in Brazil.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
She's so accurate about all the thoughts and feelings.. thank you so much for this..😭
I have my end of ks3 science exams tomorrow. They’re only small, but I’m just so worried that I’ll remember nothing from year 7 and fail completely. Your videos have been helping me so much, and thanks to you, I’m going to try and put my full work ethic into revising. :)
best of luck!
Thank you so much for the video! You speaking my mind, made me actually cry 😢
During school I was nearly the best student in my grade for 11 years of studying, but when I hit 12 grade I got into an endless cycle of hating and procrastinating the subjects I was great in, and I failed last year and didn't entered my finals exams but this year I made and there's only 2 months to the finals but I hadn't studied nearly anything, I will do everything you said in this video and hope to get better and at least wrap some subjects before it's too late.
so helpful!! I feel better now. And I will stop telling myself that I gonna fail, instead I'll try harder
I’m rewatching your vids today Jade! Thank you 💕💕 hope you’re doing well
Just started reading your book it's amazing and really inspiring me for my junior cert exams in June, thank you jade ❤

Your point on admitting on actually trying rather than protecting ones ego
That hit me SO HARDD fr made me cry and I feel like I just needed someone to tell me that
Thank you so much Jade 😭😭😭
Jade. This video could NOT have come at a better time you are an absolute star! Thank you, you really motivate me and I’m sure this comment will be one of thousands saying the same but I really appreciate your effort in your videos! Thank you!! 🥰🌸🌿
This motivated me so much, i was thinking about dropping out bc i keep getting 40% grades every a level test i’ve done, thankyou
i have a feeling this is going to be a very popular video thank you so much Jade! I just thought about some scary uni courses when seeing you uploaded! x
You are amazing 💗 I could feel your genuine love through the screen and when you said you validate my struggle it made me smile :) thank you and I love you
You always simplify even the toughest subjects!
Rlly needed this , thank you so much Jade!
I really appreciate your content, Jade. I have finals in like 2 days and it's been really stressful. But your videos always make me realise that I'm not doing this for anyone but myself. That it's a privilege to be able to recieve education. Really gets me motivated 💕
LIKE YOURE SUCH A LIFE GIVING COMFORTING HUMAN sending loads of love xx
you are glowing and not only because of the sun :)) watching your videos and seeing how you grow and work hard in order to do that is so inspiring and it helps me so much. it always gives me the boost in energy that i need!! so thank you a lot for being here and sharing your beautiful energy. casual magic for today: this video
Thank you so much, Jade, this was perfect timing to help us all stay positive and smash the exams with hard work!!
Omggg thanks for saying it out loud! I told this mindset to my friends so many times ☺️
YESS!! I have my end of year exams for 12 subjects for GCSE in 4 weeks, so this is a LIFE SAVER!! THX SO MUCH
giiirrrlll.....i LOOOVVEE THIS!
literally my situation right now but this is about to ACTUALLY help me...thank you
this is crazy, i agree with her like everything she said here i just wanna say its crazy that this is what exactly i wanna say to other people, im really glad and love her for making this vid, shes so sweet.. i love you
My GCSES start in 3 weeks and I'm absolutely terrified! You said some things that i really needed to hear today so thank you ❤️
I fell in love with your channel ad your ideas again🥺 this was a much needed video thank you so much!
You saying I'm motivated to change something made me soo happy
Hi Jade, my sister ADORES your videos and has your book she loves studying and revising too and she never stops! She has started to recommend you to me and I now know why! Thank you so much
Omg this video came at the BEST POSSIBLE TIME 😱😱 currently taking the worst course in uni I've ever done :') thanks for the helpful video!!! ❤️
I know why I want to achieve my goals
I am interested in my subjects
I get enough sleep / eat enough
I even made a timetable for myself
but I can't get myself to sit down and do the work !
😊
What do you study??
9:12
and here I just started crying af
thank u 💖
definitely needed this, been really struggling with my german grades this year after a failed year abroad so this was really uplifting, thank u
Ma'Shaa Allah, I loved this video sm💕 jazakallah this was super helpful to me✨✨✨I hope you can make more of these amazing content Fe Amanillah!:D
Your words are always so heartwarming and encouraging 💗✨ Thanks for sharing your message Jade, loveyaaa, I wish you the best 💓💓💓
wow! i really needed this video
i'm in year 13 and i've been struggling with russian history for history a level and it's been really frustrating since it's the only thing dragging my grade down and preventing me from getting an a* (and an a because it's such a heavily weighted part of the course)
i've been worrying that maybe i just made a mistake taking history to begin with and scared that it will hold me back from getting into uni
hearing you talk about your own frustration with a level chemistry and the idea of making the spreadsheet has given me the motivation i needed to get back on it! i've decided to make my daily priority doing at least 10 russia flashcards a day (my flashcards are quite detailed lol)
thanks :D
This came at the absolute best time it could ever.
