I was so pissed at that scene like why are you just standing there and why did her dad sent her alone if he went out there for her. The whimpering and wining got on my nerves. Movies portray women as weak, wimpy, whiny people. I don't believe there is a woman on this earth who would behave like that in the face of danger.

Ok I'm about halfway through. I don't know what people are talking about, Yes it's a low budget film and not the best horror ever but it's good. I'm wanting to finish watching. It has suspense and action. And you want to know what will happen next. So yes I would say take a chance and watch it

That weapon does not use a clip either. It uses a magazine.
No, They don't even look the same or work the same. A clip is used to load a magazine. It's a strip of metal that connects to (usually) a boomstick that has an internal magazine, then you push the bullets into the magazine. The item that we all see in movies is a magazine. it holds the bullets inside a self contained metal holder. You put the whole holder into the boomstick. I used to use the terms interchangeably until the military taught me the difference.
I would post a picture but I feel YT would ban me. a quick picture search for "Difference between clip and magazine" will show a lot of pictures of them.

The editing/continuity - she had the pistol in hand, just before she opened the desk drawer to retrieve the pistol.

Everyone saying the end makes no sense..... In the beginning they said the experiment got loose... The end was they army showing up to get it back into containment. Very easy to understand. And the little balls are eggs it put in them. I understand completely and agree it's a good movie

It's just so bad. Horror movies notoriously have people doing dumb stuff when they should be in survival mode, but this takes it to such a knuckle headed level that you will hate yourself for watching.

Poor Carol and her mom I had known them for years. But then Carol just goes out to help her mom. And they suspect she died first getting mutilated limbs ripped off head snapped off. And then her moms guts are thrown all over the house with her intestines hanging on a ceiling lamp. The town is outraged.

@@Winterflowers1 this story I made up and it never happened. I am usually good at the end of my strange comment write it never happened. But unfortunately I forgot to on this one. I just write some strange horror story on a horror movies rather then just writing the usual. Like I enjoyed the movie. Or I would not waste my time watching this movie. For me it's adding a person horror story on top of watching one. So nobody I know had their guts or head snapped off. I am a person who in real life have gotten involved protecting another from getting their face slashed by a guy at a bar that bumped into another by accident being drunk. And the other guy reached down while lifting up his leg and pulled out a straight razor to slash the guy. I stopped him from doing it. As well got involved with two guys kicking a guy on the ground and I smashed one guy in the face which then made the other run away. So in a real life situation if I happen to be there and something bad is going on. I do get involved. But I am able to do it having been in Martial Arts and in the Marines many years ago in the early 70s. Some people want to help other in a bad situation. But they may not physically be able to. Might have a family and kids they have to worry about. And they decide to call 911 instead. Happened in Waltham Ma many years ago. A man was trying to break up a fight. Guy turned to the man and stabbed him to death. The man was married and had several kids. He tried to help and got killed doing it. To me he was a hero. But he just was not capable of dealing with the situation.

@@Winterflowers1 that's good you got me for sure. I drove a friend of mine years ago nuts while we went camping in a wilderness area. Big strong guy. Another tough guy type like myself. I made up a B.S story about some people who had gone camping about a few miles from where we were. And got chewed up by a grizzly. And the Fish and Game set up traps to catch it but never did. That the bear came threw the tent and chewed and at the people alive like what happened to that guy in Alaska and his girlfriend. By the time I went very graphic about the screams and spitting up blood and bones being bitten and chewed and the thoughts of their families and them then wondering if a God really did exist. He could not sleep all night. Every little sound of branch break or any sound at all he would lean up saying did you hear that. I would hear it and know what it was because I have been going camping hundreds of times by myself because I live nature. I would say to him I did not hear anything. But hopefully it is not that grizzly or another hungry one. Hope you do not have deodorant on or anything or had put after shave on. The grizzly has a sensitivity of smell 7 times better then a dog. So even if I cannot smell things the grizzly can. He was freaking out and said never again this is ridiculous where is your gun. I told him I left it at home. He said what are you trying to to get killed out here. I said no but I do have a Bowie knife with me. If a grizzly does come threw the tent slashing threw your side of the tent. Let me give you the knife you can try and fight it off. Try and stab it in the throat if you can see it in the dark coming threw the tent. I was having a extremely tough time not laughing out loud. He would see me smiling and say this is not funny at all. For me telling a horror story to a adult is no different then telling young kids a horror story or a ghost story to scare them. I figure if it's good enough for kids it's good enough for adults. He never wanted to ever go camping with me again. Which was fine because when I go alone I see more animals. Less noise is being caused.
Which I have been very lucky having seen many different animals. Bears of many different colors . Mountain lions, Big bull Elk. A pack of coyotes. All up pretty close. It's fun for me. 😱😊
It should have been a good movie, the first scene of the family was very slow, hanging loundry in the middle of the night was off.. i saw many more flaws but I like the story the film, acting became better at the end.
Sometimes in life... you need to face your fear and bold up... and thats the only way you can overcome it.
If it had been that man alone... its 100% sure he'll survive..... but that woman is just the source of how they all died..... if she never had gone to save grandma... her husband would not have die and she wouldnt die either.....
