@@morganmariex Hi, Maybe, watched behind the scene’s, looks & says to be a set. It’s amazing what they put together visually, but not shocking. BTS eye for detail in all videos is impeccable. Travelling the world, I’ve never seen so many stop signs, every 15 steps few times in a row randomly every so often so close together. To be sure as not all on internet it real, I looked up list what counties around the world use stop signs so close together & why. Please do let me know if you have anything factual for me or find locations of what streets these scenes were taken. It’s always amazing to learn new thing’s. The suburban scene was filmed on a lot in Universal (per others comments with the knowledge), and it's safe to assume they used another pre-existing Universal set for the city as well. They were in LA, they aren't going to build an entire city for a few seconds in a MV. It is common to have stop signs at intersections in the US, which is why there's one at every intersection on the set. If you want to think the stop sign means no hate comments, you can! However that doesn't seem to fit the into the meaning behind this whole music video and the vibe he was going for.

There's few videos of jin explaining the concept of his song. There was a surprise appearance in the mv but you didn't see it. Did you watch the rythem of korea with bts. It about korea. Jimin and suda are in it but they don't sing, others do, personally I liked the songs, but I think you'll like the cinematography of the videos its amazing.

When you mentioned something about the feeling of finally learning to ride a bike and getting to do it alone for the first time-It triggered a memory I'd forgotten for so long. I was eight or nine when I learned to ride a bike. It was also the first time I got to stay outside until late, I think around 10 PM. I couldn't stop riding the bike around the compound we lived in, and I was so, so happy that my parents and elder cousins didn't have the heart to seriously stop me to have dinner. I kept seeing my dad outside our door; he never stopped watching me zoom by our house so many times from early afternoon to late evening. I didn't get in trouble, and I had the most satisfying dinner of my childhood so far back then. We took off the training wheels after that, and I helped him teach my baby brother a couple years later. You're right about how absolutely freeing it felt. I remember having a phase of having "flying" as my favorite superpower. And having my baby brother successfully racing with me a couple of years later was so thrilling, knowing I helped him get on it alone. If that was how Jin felt when he finally found his home and direction upon meeting ARMY, and, if the same emotion applied when ARMY tells him they found their direction upon meeting him too... It gives another layer to how I felt as an adult finding motivation because Jin and BTS gave me tools to build myself up again. The feeling IS a lot similar to how I felt on that bike so many years ago.
I know that the neighborhood and city stuff was filmed at Golden Oak Ranch that is owned by Disney. It's out by Santa Clarita, CA. If you go to the website, you can see his house and the building with the columns. I'm not sure where the rest of the outdoor shots were filmed other than somewhere in southern California. The interiors were filmed in Korea.

Yeah, the neighborhood Jin runs thru and the town area are from the Warner Bros studio lots (the same ones used for _WandaVision,_ _La La Land,_ _Pleasantville,_ and other films/shows) and I believe that they also filmed the spaceship's landing site at Universal Studios. Ok I know now that army is the little girl, ect. BUUUUT when I first watched this, here's what I thought: She's playing his actual little sister, he's already back from the military, but is dealing with some PTSD, so in his head, he has to believe 💯 he's an astronaut who just crashed outta nowhere and the past two years don't exist. (Explains why no one finds that ship, the little girl didn't notice the beam of light, and why the news anchor just happens to look like his favorite rock star, eh?) So he's all stoic, and sorta outside himself. As she teaches him to be human again, and as he begins to recover, he realizes it's time for the astronaut to go home. Watch the look on his face as the spaceship takes off. The real him is back. Now he's smiling left and right, and even gets frustrated, as any human would be, while hitchhiking. When you mentioned something about the feeling of finally learning to ride a bike and getting to do it alone for the first time-It triggered a memory I'd forgotten for so long. I was eight or nine when I learned to ride a bike. It was also the first time I got to stay outside until late, I think around 10 PM. I couldn't stop riding the bike around the compound we lived in, and I was so, so happy that my parents and elder cousins didn't have the heart to seriously stop me to have dinner. I kept seeing my dad outside our door; he never stopped watching me zoom by our house so many times from early afternoon to late evening. I didn't get in trouble, and I had the most satisfying dinner of my childhood so far back then. We took off the training wheels after that, and I helped him teach my baby brother a couple years later.
You're right about how absolutely freeing it felt. I remember having a phase of having "flying" as my favorite superpower. And having my baby brother successfully racing with me a couple of years later was so thrilling, knowing I helped him get on it alone.
If that was how Jin felt when he finally found his home and direction upon meeting ARMY, and, if the same emotion applied when ARMY tells him they found their direction upon meeting him too... It gives another layer to how I felt as an adult finding motivation because Jin and BTS gave me tools to build myself up again. The feeling IS a lot similar to how I felt on that bike so many years ago.

I know that the neighborhood and city stuff was filmed at Golden Oak Ranch that is owned by Disney. It's out by Santa Clarita, CA. If you go to the website, you can see his house and the building with the columns. I'm not sure where the rest of the outdoor shots were filmed other than somewhere in southern California. The interiors were filmed in Korea.

Yeah, the neighborhood Jin runs thru and the town area are from the Warner Bros studio lots (the same ones used for _WandaVision,_ _La La Land,_ _Pleasantville,_ and other films/shows) and I believe that they also filmed the spaceship's landing site at Universal Studios.

BUUUUT when I first watched this, here's what I thought: She's playing his actual little sister, he's already back from the military, but is dealing with some PTSD, so in his head, he has to believe 💯 he's an astronaut who just crashed outta nowhere and the past two years don't exist. (Explains why no one finds that ship, the little girl didn't notice the beam of light, and why the news anchor just happens to look like his favorite rock star, eh?) So he's all stoic, and sorta outside himself. As she teaches him to be human again, and as he begins to recover, he realizes it's time for the astronaut to go home. Watch the look on his face as the spaceship takes off. The real him is back. Now he's smiling left and right, and even gets frustrated, as any human would be, while hitchhiking. NOW I know I'm wrong, but dammed if that ain't an all-out sitcom waiting to be pitched. Anyone feel free to steal that idea.
