Beauty Clark! The 600 ace is soooooo much quieter then the EFI... not sure why any one would get a 2 stroke for a utility sled when they could have the ace engine
@@michaelgmcauliffe The 600 ACE has more than enough power for utility use and has a more work friendly powerband to boot. Also, while the ACE is more expensive to purchase, the total cost of ownership is much lower. It goes 6000 km on 2 L of oil, gets much better fuel mileage and will never need a rebuild. Total cost of ownership is a very high priority for anyone looking for a machine for work purposes.
I’m looking for brighter headlights for my new 2022 Tundra LT 600ace. If you got any recommendations?? Very nice sled btw. I live in -50 conditions during the winter.
Nice sled, I am thinking about getting a new sled and stuck between this one and the expedition sport 900ace. I like hunting and fishing, also 2 up ridding, there are no trails around here and a lot of thick bush trees, the tundra seems lighter/smaller and easier to get unstuck but the 900 has more power then the tundra can't decide.
Thank you! I have an expedition sport 900ace as well. The 900ace is a lot more comfortable to drive, especially riding 2 up. They both seem pretty light compared to my expedition xtreme 850.
@@RoyRobert130 would you say the tundra is better when you get into deep snow tight tree kind of situation? The g4 900 seems kinda big in person and some people say they are nose heavy but the extra power is good when it comes to crossing slush, water or bad ice in the spring. I also thought about the 600efi motor but still a 2 stroke and was hoping to keep this one core a long time.
@@salmonhunter7414 me too might have to add a small seat and grab strap for off trail by myself. Be nice to see a video of the 900 compared to the tundra.
If you go on the ski-doo website and build and price a Tundra or Expedition Sport, you can add the accessory cargo rack and it will show a picture of the rack installed on the machine. It looks very much like the rack that comes on the wide track Expeditions, the way it mounts and how it's constructed.
I’m looking at snow checking the same machine, I do know the reverse on these sleds are mechanical, you flip a lever up to get them in reverse. I’m wondering how these start in -20plus degree temps without plugging in?
can you tell me which block heater you installed . Is it the cheaper 125 doller one that just screws in . Or did you have to replace a cover on the engine and then screw it on at a cost of $250 . It’s not clear in the accessory book which one fits
Top speed on this machine is faster than the handling can support, so it's irrelevant how fast this machine can go. It will always go faster than it is safe to do so.
Now this is an excellent setup.
So glad that we could buy this for you.
you know it's freaking cold when the snow does this sound when he walks

because the 600 efi has about 50 percent more power!!

I am thinking along the same lines. Leaning towards an expedition 900 ace.

Nice machine.I bought a new VK 540 in 19.If i ever buy again, this is my next machine.

I love the lights
Are you happy with the performance of that machine?
How is it for power. Not sure to get the 2t or 4t.
I am looking to snow check this sled. Two things, how does the reverse work and why did you choose this over the 600 efi?

This one is the Engine Heater Kit, I have it in my 900ace too. Mine was $175 per Kit.
@@RoyRobert130 thanks , appreciate the info
How did you wire the lights? Direct to the battery?
Very nice sled Roy
I just sold my 2018 600 ace lt, snow checking a 2022
