Terry it looked like a direct hit for you and the treasure coast. Luckily my parents have not gone down yet for the season. But everyone in their park seems to have minimal damage. Hope you’re staying safe. Thanks for the videos.
Mark yes, made landfall somewhere around PSL, Fort Pierce but the thing was so huge it really affected the entire east coast of the state. Anglin Pier in Lauderdale by the Sea was damaged and even the Broadwalk in Hollywood was flooded out. Glad your folks are doing well.
Wind erosion more swift at the beach sandy beaches during cyclone all the time. Good thing it rains because if no rain the wind going to move lotsa sand inland again. So the storm surge does that as well moves sand and salt inland making the place saline a lot.
Since I wake up super early for work, it was so nice watch this wonderful video. I really enjoyed the areas that you went to as well as the waves and the people. They were great. Obviously, with the wind, rain and the conditions you were in, you still made an awesome video. Glad you’re staying safe. And again thank you for going out there and braving the storm. Not only are you driving through some dangerous conditions, you are also getting your car wet, yourself wet and full of sand, and taking the time to show us Nicole‘s fury. Thank you for all that you do. You never go under appreciated 😊
You wearing the type of Rito summer sandals we worn to school here in Fiji islands in the 90s. It is all weather Rito summer sandals but your feet gets wet
Hey Barefoot, Now known as "Barefoot the Hurricane Chaser"... Awesome!!! I think you need a real raincoat that won't rip in the rain... LOL!!! Onward & Up, Up, Upwards!!!
I tell you Terry you are a brave soul. I use to have no fear. Some of the places I went to an things I’ve done scare me to think of now, but I’m a big scaredy-cat now lol You be safe brother
Right on man 👍🏼 Saw when ya went live earlier today so it’s cool to see ya vlog’d it. Look’n forward to part 2. I’m sure tomorrow will interesting as there is supposed to be some bad erosion and flooding overnight north of ya. As always, thanks for sharing man ✌🏼
Big shout out to the great city of Columbia SC, Saundra. Used to travel there all the time when my son played travel hockey against the Stingrays. Great little town. Those were the days!
Stay safe. Storm chasing can be dangerous with flooding. At this time of writing, it appears the center(beginning of the hurricane eye) is about to touch land.
These people are storm crazy to be hosting a live event pointing a flooding and acting like wind/rain etc is a type of entertainment event. It shows you something important to note about our culture and how hooked to "extreme" we have become.
It would be fitting to go get a sandwich at Hurricanes over off Federal in Boynton Or even the Two George's at the Ocean Ave bridge... if it's not under water.
Seriously flooded? That's maybe 3 inches and pooled there. Looks like a low point. And your car can drive there fine. It's a Subaru. You're intake should be high on top of your engine, keep that out of the water and your fine in a few inches like that.
Hurricane Hilde here. You're so much fun to watch!!
Happy Birthday Hilde!

Not a beautiful day with blue skies and turquoise waters in paradise, looks more like a dreary, ugly winter day here!
