Correct me if i'm wrong but i think mellow was the first to establish hub motors, also the exchangable batteries
The problem with mellow is that they dont promote their product via youtube, so nobody knows about them and their mellow drive... i bought one and its absolutely amazing, changing the battery is way easier than on the inboard, also you can use the exchangable battery as a power bank, and you can mount the mellow drive under every long or skateboard you like

Nawunderbar correct but the mellow drive is very bulky and you can notice it under the board. That is why I love the inboard because you cant even notice it is a electric board. I just bought the Acton Blink S board and will be reviving that this week. Stay tuned for the unboxing! Should be a fun board!

Tristen Jourdan of course the mellow is more likely to notice as an electric board, but the lights on the inboard are very noticable too😂 but both are great boards! Hope you have a lot of fun with your m1👍🏼

Hey what's up man, your bag with the in bag charger caught my attention, but wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I've considered looking into a portable charger for the actual inboard batteries (such as the Omnicharge 20) but inboard said at this moment there isn't a portable charger that can hold enough power to supply a full charge to it's batteries. I am still curious on how much it can actually charge (for instance charge spare battery in bag if drained while using the other battery). I have a 2nd battery as well with my Inboard M1, but prefer to ride in advanced mode which for me I get about 3-4 miles which kinda forces me to use eco pro to get 6 miles if I have to get that range. Was hoping for the 10 miles as noted, but learned fast that's not in my favor. I've considered getting a 2nd board for longer needed rides. I seen the Evolve GTX and man it's tempting for the power and range. Does 27 mph top speed and gets 31 miles in range on one charge (using eco pro setting). It most likely gets 20 miles using GT mode but that's still great to me. Give the sense of not being so dependent of the charger on the regular, but that luxury would come with a price lol. I'm more a fan of programmable electric board with the hub motors so I try to make this M1 work with less down time. But not gonna front the Evolve GTX is tempting even with it's skimpy remote lol. But yeah I think the portable charger is your missing link. Cool setup and congrats on your M1.

TH Videos Yes I have been looking into something like that! But I am also looking into the Blink S2 Board. I want to throw that into my backpack and use that when I have gone through both of my batteries on the M1. Quick question, have you tried flying with your Inboard M1?

Tristen Jourdan I haven't taken the board on the plane yet, but all you have to do is take the batteries out the board and bring them on the plane with you. Inboard spent a chunk of change to take these batteries with you for travel.
