Pirigallo Backcountry Spine - South America Skiing and Riding in Chile at Nevados de Chillan in 2023

Snowmobile and touring accessed volcano powder skiing during the summer of 2023 in South America at Nevados de Chillan in Chile. Filmed with a GoPro 11 on September 26, 2023. Two days after the mountain closed for the season, we took the sled from the base of the resort to the base of Volcan Nevados de Chillan where we slapped on skins and toured to the summit.
It's amazing how much terrain can be covered with a sled. After we summited the tallest peak in Ñuble, we took the sled across the resort and skied the backcountry of Cerro Pirigallo.
