Still kinda salty that Curry didn't win Finals MVP this year. Take out Game 3 and he had one of the best finals series in his career so far. He even set up a Finals record for most 3s made. I hope he gets at least one before he retires.

Steph won them 2 games, KD won them 2 games. But KD still played well in the games where Curry carried the team, whereas Curry had an absolutely terrible game
@@vince2778 yeah that's the thing. On the three games, Curry played the best especially scoring wise. However, KD's numbers weren't far behind of Steph's. Just so happened that KD had better overall stats, getting near triple double finals stats. But narrative wise and in terms of how the game went without the stats, Curry had a respectable series. It's one of those series where someone else you wish one the Finals MVP (e.g. Ginobili, Garnett, Curry in 2015)

ehhhh but in all honesty even if he had a bad game, he still made that three in the end when it mattered. Kd's three was clutch, but steph's was clutch too. Cleveland had to jump out on curry even if he's ice cold which frees up kd klay. Stats tell only a part of the story.
Let me remind u of some valuable information,
Curry torched the Cavs in game 1 & 2, they obviously had to reform their plan to try and limit him. They did. Steph got double teamed on 59 possessions in game 3 (only yielded 2 TOs despite that btw).
Also, Ray Allen made the previous 3pts finals record when he made 8. He went 0 for 10 next game. Therefore, apparently there's an instant side effect to achieving such a feat.

@The Home Dipo Iggy got it for a reason even tho I feel like Steph deserved. That was because he was impactful. Only reason KD won FMVP was because of Game 3 but all that meant is that the Cavs would take a game. There was no way they were winning that series anyway. Now if Cavs beat Warriors in Game 1 that would have been huger for the Cavs than winning in Game 3. Steph was the only reason they really had a chance in that game. Game 2: Althought KD was more efficient. Steph made the bigger shots. Cavs made a lot of runs and every single time Curry would hit two threes to kill their momentum. Game 4 honestly neither KD or Curry was amazing but Steph was slightly better.
Best PG in the league. PERIOD
