Why didn't Lorthemar give Alleria reasons instead of just refusing her offer? Like explaining how Stormwind was never there when Silvermoon needed help. When the Scourge ravished the land, they were nowhere to be seen. Then they sent a racist officer that sent them against insurmountable odds and impisoned the few survivors that were left. And even after, Stormwind sent no help while Silvermoon was being rebuilt. Alleria could have actually seen that Stormwind did nothing to aid her people while she was away. And the Horde actually did. She could have returned to Anduin with the question, "why did your father abandon my people?" Would have been interesting to see that conversation unfold. If Lothermar can't remember these events and remind an old war hero of them, then he is unfit to be in charge of his people. And Alleria's sole connection to the Alliance and Stormwind was based on Stormwind's past deeds. Deeds done decades ago. By another ruler. Yet now her character is immediately the number one Alliance fangirl. Would have been more interesting to see Turalyon and Alleria return to their respective people and try to work on peace from both sides.
Exactly! A different Alliance. So why is Alleria endorsing an Alliance she doesn't even know? All she knows is its past and that BOTH factions came to aid the Army of Light in their fight against the Legion. If anything, she should have at least seen for herself what the "new" Horde looked like under her sister's reign before deciding.
And why not talk with Sylvanas herself? Why trust the judgement of one of her sisters over the other? Would you not want to meet your sister who is said to have become a monster before taking up arms against her? It makes no sense.

Not sure why people are saying Alleria fucked up. I mean the offer had already been rejected before she even arrived plus I suspect Lorthemar is worried about Sylvanas learning that he was in talks with Varian back in MoP before the purge of Dalaran. As for the Sunwell, well that was not the best idea but then again the Blood Elves have presumably had Warlocks visit without any issues so it's not fair to completely blame her for that.
Of course the Alliance’s offer was rejected before Alleria arrived. The Blood Elves are completely justified in their disdain for the Alliance after years of backstabbing from the Humans. Alleria just waltzed back in as if nothing had changed and Lor’themar still allowed her to visit the Sunwell as his guest after she mocked him to his face. Also, Sylvanas already knows Lor’themar was in talks with the Alliance briefly back in MoP. All of the Horde leaders have since “War Crimes”. Finally remember back in BC the Sunwell was surrounded by demons and fel-infused mortals and nothing bad just *happened*. There was little reason for the Blood Elves to suspect just bribing someone who dabbles in dark powers near it would trigger something.

I feel nothing for Alleria. Where Sylvanas was turned into a banshee against her will. Alleria gives herself to the void to satiate her curiosity. Trust the guy who can't say his name or tell how he "mastered" the void. Crazy theory: reason he can't say his name is he is the nexus Prince who became the vessel of the void. Now king from his father being killed in bc. He sheppered the void into his world. He teaches his students as potential vessels of the void.
the story writing has become shitty lately..... like Alleria clearly can not completely control the void, within her, like she claims. This incident, just proves it..... yet the Alliance are all for the void elves joining them. Its super obvious the void is using Alleria. You know, like they used everyone else they've corrupted
Your tinfoil hat is on too tight..... Magister Rommath is not a member of the Twilight's Hammer. Do you even know his lore??? The Twilight's Hammer practices void magic and Rommath himself banished all Blood Elves that practice void magic.... You cant compare fel magic, with void magic. Illidan becoming a demon hunter is completely different from becoming one, with the void. The void magic is known to be deceiving and sits back waiting for the moment to strike, just like it did in this scenario, with the Sunwell. Alleria doesnt have control over it. It is deceiving her to make her believe she does. Also those tattoos Demon Hunters have are there for a reason ;)
This scene seem so force and manufactured. Why would Alleria go to slivermoon with an offer from the alliance? Like the Blood elves haven't been horde for years now and had their fair share of spilling alliance blood? This just seem like a scene to bring Alleria to slivermoon to show she can never be a blood elf.
sombodi200 No this scene shows that Alleria isn’t ok with the her kingdom being with the Horde after they were enemies for years and centuries. I mean even her entire family besides Vereesa and Sylvanas were killed by the Horde during the second war! So her hatred is understandable.
I'm honestly suprised that Lorthemar spurned her offer so quickly. His capital city is the last Horde power in Eastern Kingdoms, and joining the Alliance would keep his people safe. Plus morally there are too many parallels with Sylvanas and the Lich King. The Alliance has never looked better for the Blood Elves than it does now.
Adrew Renshaw this scene have happened before battle for Lorderon ( at this battle alliance have void elves and at this cinematic ending they are first time mentioned to anduin ) so there were undead at EK between blood elves and Stormwind. Also Sylvanas did a lot to blood elves , only with her help blood elves secure ghost's lands ( half of their home land ).
Rafael Arandas why should she? She doesn’t even know her nor has she ever spoken to her until their meeting in this scenario. And she isn’t part of her people nor kingdom
I dont like her cause She has forgotten her cause to fight under the banner of alliance First She was Fighting for her people the highelves But she didnt her duty perfectly in reality In her absence high elves had their darkest time and finally found salvation/for forsaken too/ But she shows up and blaming her sister and sindorei her people If they waited the help of alliance they could have destroyed completelly Alliance just abandoned their former ally Btw horde helped them once enemy for them But after all this their boy king is waiting for alleria's afford for to rejoin them HOW Pathetic
+Pretty Handsome Either way. This is so fucking messy. It would if SOMEONE in the Alliance would actually tell her why Silvermoon is with the Horde in the first place.
In the Blood Elves point of view, the Alliance are a bunch of racists who kicked them out (even though it was actually a dreadlord doing it). Then, the purging of Dalaran by Jaina didn't really help the alliance's cause there. Alleria had it coming.
Blood Elves are toxic folks. Alleria was courteous enough to give why to the other guests but still Lor'themar insisted she stay. Rommath is just plain rude
It was a nice effort by Alleria to try to bring back the Blood Elves to Alliance, but the Alliance has always been racist swine towards them and never aided them when they needed it most. I completely understand why they are sticking with the Horde, atleast the Horde are helping them!
Gary Cannon They've been teaching human mages in Dalaran, also runing away from the Night Elves purges - just to remind High Elves lore and the Alliance races.
Poor Alleria, her heart must have called out for the Sunwell, as it too must've called out for her. To feel the Sunwell's light flow through her body again after a thousand years must've been overwhelming. If only she hadn't succumbed to the void, this visit might have been enough to sway her opinions of the blood elves' cause. Also Theron was very noble, and kind toward Alleria. He was under no obligation to give her access to the sunwell, but respected their lineage regardless of faction enough to allow it. The elven lore in WoW is my among my favorite, I just wish the high elves and blood elves would set aside their differences and reunite.
Azolgar She didn’t know that it was restored by the Naaru so I’ll give her that. However she knows very well how corrupting the Void is so she shouldn’t go near anything with massive power like the Sunwell, Alleria is just dumb as hell.
Yeah the whole thing about Alleria is that she's absolutely clueless about everything is trying to catch up. That cluelessness is probably the sole reason she's even still with the Alliance, because if she was present for all the terrible things the alliance did to the elves, I doubt she'd still be with them.
Kay Em That and also the fact that Vareesa intentionally gave her false information to Alleria. They’ve been in contact with each other since Legion without Sylvanas and in the comics Alleria blames Sylvanas for trying to convince Alleria into killing Garrosh when it was Vareesas idea and the one that mentioned it to Sylvanas. If Vareesa is going to be lying about things like that who knows, she might’ve told Alleria that Sylvanas willingly joined the scourge to fight with Arthas and a whole bunch of things after her death.
Blood elf’s are only apart of the horde because of the scourge, and now the blood elf’s are Allies with the same people that took their home. Sometimes the lore and will of these characters is annoying. Blood elf leader has no reason to hate the alliance and every reason to hate the horde and how Kael set up the blood elf faction, but they continue to live in Kael’s world who they all hate. Blood elf lore is wicked dumb.
Another example of contrived storytelling. Lor'themar has more sense than to side with the Forsaken. From a story perspective, the Blood Elves should have just joined the Alliance after Orgrimmar fell. Sadly you can't tell a good story and have a game that nurtures a couple million people.
but it was established a while ago that while the blood elves were in negotiations to join the alliance, Jaina messed it up by banishing them from dalaran, alienating them. So the blood elves have been pretty thoroughly alienated from the alliance by now-
Rin Kagamine Jaina messed it up? Negotiating a peace treaty with the Alliance while helping the Horde steal a Bell, yeap typical Blood Elf, maybe bad choices is the one of the requirement to become a Regent Lord.
Warcraft 3 was long enough ago (at least in the sense his how much has happened) that it would like the American South still holding a grudge about not having slaves. People move on from their mistakes in the past and unite for the greater good.
Yet the one who retreated was Sylvanas " FOR THE HORDE (until we have to retreat to save our sorry ass because "blood and glory" all you want but that shit means nothing when we're actually in danger)
Sylvanas was drawing multiple alliance leaders into a trap, hoping to kill them with the blight in that throne room. The only reason she even had to retreat is because Jaina came outta fuckin nowhere and saved the day. Anduin and Greymane mostlikely would have to retreat or they would end up a skelly-man. If Jaina never showed up that is. I dont think Anduin is weak though, I actually like him more than Varian as king so far.
Frankly it’s a miracle the fragile and often false “peace” lasted this long, what with the Alliance launching an unprovoked sneak attack on the Horde (Stormheim) or unleashing the dark power of the Old Gods in a sacred site (Quel’Danas).
For once the Alliance are the 'bad guys' (showing their true colors) and I'm all for it. I'm sick they sugarcoat them being all good and pure when Genn, Jaina, and now Alleria do questionable actions "for the greater good" while in reality are only pushing their own agendas.
Kouya Williams My thoughts exactly. I only wish it didn’t cost us faction cities. With any luck, and clever writing, both Undercity and Teldrassil can be restored some day.
Unprovoked? You mean Greymane getting revenge for both his son and Varian's murder? The only person who suffered was Sylvanas and her quest for immortality, which Greymane shattered. God damn right.
Ross In the middle of a war that would've annihilated the planet, plus by the time Genn launches the attack on Sylvanas he knew that the whole broken shore thing was a traps, you know the leader of Mi:7 was a dreadlord and when the real guy came back the alliance was informed of what happened, Varian wasn't murdered by heroically sacrificed himself for the Alliance, as a real king should do and went in a blaze of glory. Also Greydick is a mane, and Gilneas deserved what it got.
Ross TheNotHardToRead Both Liam and Varian died because of their own actions, though it seems possible Jaina helped out with the latter. Also, it’s been established that Sylvanas intends to use Eyir’s power to empower the Forsaken similar to the ritual that enhanced Nathanos, not just prolong her own existence. Such a boon would’ve been a tremendous weapon in Azeroth’s arsenal against the Legion, but instead Greymane chose to attack a neutral faction and place his own personal interests above the survival of the entire world and everyone on it. Now with both he and Proudmoore retaining Anduin as their puppet, they’re effectively the true rulers of the Alliance, and that’s one of if not the primary factor(s) driving both main factions to all-out war in the next expansion.
its the blood elves loss really ......considering it was a Naaru a creature of the Draenai that helped heal the sunwell you'd think they'd be a bit more open to words from the alliance out of all the horde races............and they all really like ripping on anduin as the boy king.......you watch he'll show them all up .......he may not be the warrior his father was but as a priest he has more patience than he had and he'll probably kick em all in the ass by the end of the expansion
A Naaru is not a creature of the Draenai, they are beings of pure light. Depending on what kind of Naaru they want to dominate and control them just as much as the void, as shown in Legion when the Naaru tried to force Illidan to serve the light. Also they are called Blood elves for a reason, they have been betrayed by the alliance, while the horde showed them nothing but kindness. Soo they wouldn't just return because alleria came back, she knows almost nothing of the betrayal of the alliance.
Nick Lancial The Naaru aren’t Alliance, and that boy king is nothing. He should have died back in MoP and again in the Battle for Lordaeron, he’s trash just like the Alliance.
Poor Lor'themar can never catch a break with any of the Windrunners.

People need to remember when they talk -Ships with Lor'themar. He has stated in the past that he was not interested in Legacies. He may have a fling here or there, but he has no intentions of marrying and having kids especially in the sake of politics. I doubt there will be any marriages in his future. Lady Liadrin or Thylessera.
they will he is kinda willing to do so ... and that cus Suramar can offer its power to Silvermoon and at its fountain to theirs ... use ure brain if u read the Romantic Novel with them 2 he succumbed to her will and strength of luring him she wants him cus she likes him he also likes her Rommath and the other one told him that one day he has to damn it all and have an heir or he will be casted out as regent lord and who knows when a 2dn Kaelthas comes in picture again
its the blood elves loss really ......considering it was a Naaru a creature of the Draenai that helped heal the sunwell you'd think they'd be a bit more open to words from the alliance out of all the horde races............and they all really like ripping on anduin as the boy king.......you watch he'll show them all up .......he may not be the warrior his father was but as a priest he has more patience than he had and he'll probably kick em all in the ass by the end of the expansion
The Drenai were rly nice tahts True and i Think the Blood elfvs would befriend them and they talked about joinig the alliance and i belive it was for that reason but after jaina repeatet the shit Garthois(im cant spell his name sry) did to an extend and reminded them why they left I can undersant them why they wont jion them i still think they like the Drenais at least
what are you saying naaru is not a creature of draenai its a creature of light and completely independent from the draenai

Alleria is going to fuck up alliance with this void stuff.
welp, nothing bad ever happened to those who study the void. not even The Guardians.
So I wanted to get BfA too, only to be like 30k+ in line.....so I am going to wait a bit longer
the story writing has become shitty lately..... like Alleria clearly can not completely control the void, within her, like she claims.
Anzu Wyliei yeah....you definitely are wearing a tinfoil hat.
Jainas a dread lord by the way *sarcasm*
Lately? The fuck story you've been following for the years? World of Warcraft story has always been laughable but enjoyable.
They have warlocks, death knights, demon hunters and void elves but still think somehow to have the moral high ground. Laughable
Anzu Wyliei no he is not. That story arc was deleted
Can Turalyon not purify her or some shit?! ISNT HE LIKE THE PERFECT CHAMPION OF THE LIGHT OR SOME SHIT
I love how Alleria is so head strong. "I will not be taken prisoner in my own homeland!"
Pretty much what Adri Adrian said.
Sylvanas blackmailed Silvermoon too (sources and troops), that's why they were in tension during the Orgrimmar siege.
Oh no! poor Alleria
Wait the sunwell is fixed? And now, they destroyed the world tree!? WTF BLITZ? Why are you making the night elves suffer!?
We people talk about the Alliance like its only made of humans?
cus its lead by dog ppl and humans and nelfs that all 3 have same way of thinking :We are supreme !
Cool, are you going to let us know your choices?
What is the name of Addon you use?
Maybe Alleria could have approached Thalyssra instead...
Rafael Arandas why should she? She doesn’t even know her nor has she ever spoken to her until their meeting in this scenario. And she isn’t part of her people nor kingdom
They fucked up the story so hard. Its like watching lost
magnusee what do you mean?
The story has never been that good to begin with.
Nice comedy sketch
Which Quest is that?
It's the one where you get Thalyssra's people into the horde, requires exalted and starts at the Embassy in Orgrimmar, if i'm not mistaken
my queen
Ok how do you trigger this event
it's the final thing when unlocking the nightbourne race I think, so to do it you have to first get exalted and complete their storyline in Suramar
Ha, ha! Kael'thas betrayed Quel'thalas and sindorei still friendly with him! Darkhan Dartir helped arthas(wow comic books)
How can i see this cinematic in game?
Yea but how do you get the quest? For the allied race?
Poor Alleria! She didn’t even know that was going to happen, if she knew about that she wouldn’t have asked to see the Sunwell in the first place!
Yes, it is very sad...she loved her homeland, you know, fighting so long and hard to defend it from invaders. :(
Rafael Arandas just so to get her silvermoon citizenship stripped off. She will most likely be run Quel'Thalas to the ground in later updates/quests.
Well she is allied with the enemy of silvermoon and her presence is risk to whole population, so its kinda justified banishment.
Nah fuck that traitor bitch. Void elves are scum
I dont like her cause
She has forgotten her cause to fight under the banner of alliance
First She was Fighting for her people the highelves
But she didnt her duty perfectly in reality
In her absence high elves had their darkest time and finally found salvation/for forsaken too/
But she shows up and blaming her sister and sindorei her people
If they waited the help of alliance they could have destroyed completelly
Alliance just abandoned their former ally
Btw horde helped them once enemy for them
But after all this their boy king is waiting for alleria's afford for to rejoin them
HOW Pathetic
Poor Alleria xD
Andre Ware well aleria vs sylvanis confirmed? And if it happened sylvanis would win FOR THE HORDE
deathwind gaming-xbox Im a Horde Player too but sadly alleria is Way Stronger than our Queen sylvanas.. she is no Match for alleria.
She deserved it for giving us VoidShit. We wanted actual High Elves boy Reject Blood Elves.
I wish alleria windrunner was my girlfriend
she's too old ;]
@@xLetalis about thousands of years older haha
@@xLetalis Still looking good regardless
Blood Elves are toxic folks. Alleria was courteous enough to give why to the other guests but still Lor'themar insisted she stay. Rommath is just plain rude
Never trust a windrunner
It was a nice effort by Alleria to try to bring back the Blood Elves to Alliance, but the Alliance has always been racist swine towards them and never aided them when they needed it most. I completely understand why they are sticking with the Horde, atleast the Horde are helping them!
what? no they haven't and where was silvermoon when lorderon fell? exactly
Gary Cannon have you even played WC3? I suggest you shut up if you dont know what you are talking about.
actually yes I just beat it the other day actually lol so other than garithos how has the alliance been racist towards the blood elves?
Gary Cannon
They've been teaching human mages in Dalaran, also runing away from the Night Elves purges - just to remind High Elves lore and the Alliance races.
Illidan, Tyrande, Malfurion, and to an extension, Maiev, helped the blood elves when they needed it the most. They’re all Nelves. An alliance race.
I think her void power almost corrupet the narru inside the sunwell i dont think she wanted that. she rly shouldnt go near it
Azolgar She didn’t know that it was restored by the Naaru so I’ll give her that.
Sadly you can't tell a good story and have a game that nurtures a couple million people.
what
but it was established a while ago that while the blood elves were in negotiations to join the alliance, Jaina messed it up by banishing them from dalaran, alienating them.
You obviously don't know the Sin'Dorei's past to make such a comment.
A pity, most WoW players haven't even touch Warcraft 3.
Warcraft 3 was long enough ago (at least in the sense his how much has happened) that it would like the American South still holding a grudge about not having slaves. People move on from their mistakes in the past and unite for the greater good.
Can Thalyssra and Lor'themar have a baby now 🤔?
Basically GTFO
Anduin is weak FOR THE HORDE
deathwind gaming-xbox FORR THE HORRRDDDDEEE
Yet the one who retreated was Sylvanas "
FOR THE HORDE (until we have to retreat to save our sorry ass because "blood and glory" all you want but that shit means nothing when we're actually in danger)
Antony Chavez Because Alliance never retreated right?
Sylvanas was drawing multiple alliance leaders into a trap, hoping to kill them with the blight in that throne room. The only reason she even had to retreat is because Jaina came outta fuckin nowhere and saved the day. Anduin and Greymane mostlikely would have to retreat or they would end up a skelly-man. If Jaina never showed up that is. I dont think Anduin is weak though, I actually like him more than Varian as king so far.
@@kaynsimp97 You say that like whole plague wasn't just plot device
Ross
In the middle of a war that would've annihilated the planet, plus by the time Genn launches the attack on Sylvanas he knew that the whole broken shore thing was a traps, you know the leader of Mi:7 was a dreadlord and when the real guy came back the alliance was informed of what happened, Varian wasn't murdered by heroically sacrificed himself for the Alliance, as a real king should do and went in a blaze of glory.
Betraying the alliance is overlooked by the projection here
"Naaru a creature of the draenai" Haha, alliance fanboys being retarded AGAIN. More news at 11.
Nick Lancial The Naaru aren’t Alliance, and that boy king is nothing. He should have died back in MoP and again in the Battle for Lordaeron, he’s trash just like the Alliance.
yeah usually when people say that it ends up coming back to bite them in the ass......hard
