Sadly, it does not support background usage, hope they add it in the future since it's crucial for many apps to be able to download and specially upload files in background
You can use a background service to implement this

Firebase Storage is definitely a beautiful tool. However, there is a slight delay when loading images. Of course, it can be improved to some extent through image caching, but it is still not satisfactory.
at some point cloud storage needs AI for processing audio and video and image
