@williamburhler5890 umm I would say get a bigger boat, I think those seats max at 270 but ask Pelican, but I wouldn't get anything smaller than a 12 footer
Had this kayak almost a year. I feel the kayak itself is pretty good but I've had 2 rudder systems replaced and 1 pedal drive. I've waited for parts half the life of the kayak and that's not an exaggeration. If you fish as much as i do I'd choose a different kayak. Thanks for the videos though.

Hey you may want to also add the wheel accessories, alot of people are going to use those when they buy kayaks, nobody wana carry them yaks. @@tfptalowahfishingpaddlinga3742 The scotty brand makes a transducer "arm" that swivels from a track and into the water. Ive used that on two different kayaks and it works well. The tracks are pre installed on this yak so youd be ready to go. Hope this helps.

On a normal day of fishing how many times do think you need that reverse? I feel like it would be needed quite a bit. Im stuck between this and the pdl 120
Honestly not that often for me. I have the hobie passport and I bought it with the md180, it was like 400 bucks more expensive than for the non reverse drive. I use it maybe once or twice per trip, but I could just aswell do a padle stroke and go forward. So not really worth it for me. I would probably use it more often if I had a instant reverse like with a propeller
I assume you keep the rudder down when paddling? Also, another video re this kayak noted that if you loosen, a bit, the 3 bolts on each side of the drive unit the pedal effort decreases.
@@AliexFolgueira I appreciate u getting back to me I found a2020 for 900 bucks but it’s the 110 not 130 that I wanted I was concerned with the weight capacity but that makes me feel better gotta jump on that deal then
