She said ange needs backing. He's spent over 200m net in 18 months and that's on top of the kane money. He's bought loads of players. Clueless springs to mind
@@paultaylor9498 A huge portion of that spend is players that were already at the club on loans with obligations to buy. You can't double dip. Conte bought those players and nobody ever says 'they are free because they are on loan'. So the figure isn't as high as you're making out. Then you have to consider how bad shape the squad was in. We had multiple players that we couldn't sell for anything, that had to go and be replaced. This has been a huge rebuild. Most importantly, our medical team are beyond shit and we've been having these ongoing injury problems for fucking ages. Players join and start being injury prone. Players leave and suddenly they are fit for seasons at a time. We have 8 of our 11 starters out injured. We can't even field a full bench some days. In those circumstances you have to bring in fresh legs to get through the emergency. And Levy hasn't done that. So no, he hasn't been backed. He was saddled with a squad of very low value that lost one of it's only top quality players and he's had to replace them with players all under the age of 23. We went from second oldest squad to the youngest squad BY FAR. The team that played against Leicester was actually significantly cheaper than Leicester's squad. He's not perfect. And he's made mistakes. But Levy has a lot of blame here. A lot.
Big Up Alice, Great work again. Let me tell you about Damola Ajayi , he is a someone who is a Silent Assassin, who quietly dominates-had scored goals, made crucial tackles, and provides key assists-but he really does everything with calm, composed demeanor, without all the theatrics or showmanship. Ps ; Check his academy videos on Lilywhite labs
Thanks for your thoughtful insights Alice! Us Spurs fans really needed this win and a little injection of positivity! It really is exciting to see all this amazing young talent in the club coming through, a few more senior star signings and there will be great balance! COYS
Dragusin really needs to up his game. He was on the pitch for 5 mins and gifted Elfsborg their best chance of the game with an attempted clearance. He can't pass, he can't run fast he has to at least be solid.
NevOakes....Cape Town ...Dragusin was the architect of his own injury to be honest.....Why did he try to keep the ball in when it was practically out? He was really off balance trying to keep the ball in play....
I always watch your podcasts Alice because you talk sense. Good or bad, you know what is going on. X By the way, try to get a watch of Abbotts' recent goals for Notts County. Both are worth a watch and certainly a talent iexpe t to see next season at Spurs.
I was "working" while the game was going. When Ajayi scored I wasn't looking at the picture and could only hear the commentary. I thought the opposition has scored because I hadn't heard of the dude!!! LOL at me. Levy is a disgrace and Ange should be backed.
I meant to say on my previous post, Mikey Moore as you well know it very talented but i was especially pleased for him scoring tonight along with his fellow academy mates because i still thing he is recovering from his illness and the best is yet to come. Even this season, i think we will see more. ( no pun intended).
And look whose record Mikey beat: "At 17 years and 172 days old, Moore became England's youngest-ever scorer in a major European competition, breaking Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves' record (17 years 245 days) set in 1957".
Ange could have told Son: give 'er hell for 45 minutes. Then you'll get a rest. The coach also got Van de Ven and Richarlison some good game action without injury. But Moore? The other players recognize his talent; you can see it. How fun is it that Ajayi scores that goal, and for Scarlett, who has been all over the place on loan? I'm so happy for him. Finally, Kulu should not be stuck on the wing again. He does his best inside just behind the front three.
Keeley, Donley, Devine, Gunter, Dorrington, and Philips are doing well on loan as well. Spurs youth and the young additions they have made such good progress despite the painful season. Add another top talent or two as wingers (Tel and Dibbling), a fullback, a CDM and maybe a striker like Delap would be a strong project to grow the next few years before needing to replace older players at that point. Even Spurs first team stars are young… Kulu, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie, Poro, Spence, and Dragusin are all still early to mid twenties. Obviously Son’s production needs addressing but I think if he only plays once a week to once every ten days he would still be a world class player for a couple more years.
It also helps that the 3 youngsters have won trophy together before and has better chemistry than some of the senior players who haven’t played together for long
Everyone ignores that Ange was the Australian youth coach for 6 years, leading to Australia's golden age ( qualifying for every world cup and over 400 players in Europe) If you have a kid that wants to play send them to Ange
Alice, you give always give a balanced opinion unlike many so called Spurs fans channels. Ali Gold a notable exception. I’ve unsubscribed to them all except Ali’s.
I HAVE SEEN THAT MOORE, IS THE YOUNGEST ENGLISH PLATER, TO SCORE IN EUROPEAN FOOTBALL, BEATING JIMMY GREAVES RECORD. I ASSUME THAT WAS EVER BECAUSE GREAVES WAS AT CHELSEA WHEN HE WAS 17.
I would sell my soul to meet a girl like you!! Love the content, you’re a real football fan and actually know what you’re talking about! I watch most football games because I just love football, I’ve never heard someone so honest about the game, it’s refreshing …. Keep it up and enjoy what you’re doing!
Don’t forget Yan as well, I’m surprised that we loaned him out with all are injuries.Or has Ange let him go so Levy will put his hand in his pocket.COYS.
I think Tottenham should sack Ange before he does something… Imagine how much power at the club he would have if he wins a trophy. For that reason they got to sack Ange whilst they are 15th in the EPL
Ok, sorry to spoil the party, we are talking about Elfsborg, right? 5th in the Swedish league, behind Djurgården... that's who Tottenham have beaten... right?
It's not about who Spurs have just beaten. Get some perspective yourself before making comments to try and demean what has happened for 3 academy players in European competition.

How clueless is the woman saying ange needs backing hes spent over 200m net and that with selling kane. He's bought loads of players And people think you know what you're talking about. All clueless clowns
That goal by Ajayi promises so much for the future
Yeah I wasn’t very aware of him but that cameo was very good!
Big up Ange. Never have I seen a so called top 6 manager go through so much adversity with all the injuries.
The same happened to Liverpool literally 1yearago with Klopp, massive injuries. It happens, grow up, no need to cry just get on with it.
Eddie Howe.
@dazzwsmith Bad but not as bad. And even Ange mentioned how tuff it was for Howe last season.
@@Lee-fc3yf Thats the truth. Their hamstrings in Klopps first year got rekt
@Truthbetold1988 true, but he has a bigger/better squad outside of their main 11.
This is the best (Spurs) analysis channel, bar none. Keep up the good work, Ms Alice

Big up to Levy for sticking with Ange, I thought he would crumble. Despite the results, Ange is transforming the club as a whole.
The future is bright but a lot of fans are blind to the truth.I can’t wait for Ange to prove all the naysayers wrong.COYS.
100%👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Live in the present.
So happy to see the young lads succeed. The future is bright provided Levy doesn't find a way to eff it up.
Yeah. Levy needs to spend. How you didn’t sign Van De Ven cover/ LB cover last summer baffles me
@@ECILAFootball Levy had to be forced out of his coffin, that is no easy task! 🤣🤣🤣

Spurs killed the PL2 last year, so many exciting players on loan as well: Donley, Keeley, Vuskovic, Devine, Abbott

2:04 why did they did my man johnson dirty with the flag in the post 😭
We need to be very careful of our midfield area as it is pivotal for football and to become a winning club.
Spurs' youngsters reminds me of when Fergie started to blood the United Class of 92 in the old Carling cup. Scholes, Giggs, Beckham, Neville etc.
1:29 did they really gave Brennan a trans flag? 😂😂😂 wtf
Spurs have found their level! Good job , guys and girls!
Moore still isn't in top form yet either, as he continues recovering from his illness. Lankshear may go out on loan.

Hopefully Archie's brother Harry (a 15 yr old striker) will follow him over soon. Archie says he is a better player than him.
