I think the cloud is the now and the future. IMO, no role or industry is layoff proof but cloud roles and cloud adjacent roles definitely have more job security now and in the future.
Super interesting to watch. Extremely unfamiliar territory for me due to the AWS and my IR isn't at your level. How would you say the CCD helped with something like this? How do the skills translate? I'm looking at wanting to take it but that 800 dollar tag is making me really think this through. In the future I want to dive into cloud security, probably aws.
The CCD is not really big on Cloud IR as it’s heavily concentrated on endpoint forensics amongst many other things. I taught myself all of the AWS IR stuff I know (also learned a lot from working in the field). So, I recommend checking my AWS threat detection course (linked in the linked comments) to learn some of this stuff.
