You know what I blame the zoo because it's the zookeepers responsibility to make sure their animals are well cared for yes in the wild. Is supposed to take care of Mom but you guys are watching him there are lock and key you could have went in there and made damn sure Molly and you would have never lost that first litter

Given that the couple would have been provided enough food, this was literally a case of dad not loving mum enough to feed her. Which is just sad.
I wouldn’t say that it wasn’t loving love is a human concept. It was more that he didn’t understand how often he had to bring her food.

If the pups were malnourished, why didn't the zoo step in and feed them? They aren't in the wild. Zoos do this all the time when animals aren't raising their babies.
Why wouldn’t the zoo keepers check on those important pups…..why let them starve to death…

At this point, they would still be having mothers milk. Icana was unable to have a large enough milk supply.
Keepers are unable to do much at this point, as the pups are with the parents all the time, and the keepers can’t go in to take them away.
Bs zoo keepers all the time take in young animals that are either not taken care of by their parents or the young are too sick or weak to be taken care of in general. Seriously they lost 5 fucking babies I'd be devastated if I let that happen
They are still wild animals. And interfering won’t help
It’s crazy imo, they’re paid for looking after these animals and they can’t even do that
