Its very unique and different than our modern cloth driers. Liked it very much actually. Regarding experience spending time in that sit out with family enjoying the deer calls was thrilling at night. @@runabhattacharya9745 Nagarhole forest department cottages are not very expensive. Stay in these cottage will cost you around 3k. Food is separate but it’s also inexpensive in the canteen. There are different safari options in Nagarahole - Jeep and bus. JLR Jeep is expensive at 2242 per head which is for 3 hours. Forest department Jeep is 7790 for 9 people but is for 1.5 hours. Bus safari is 450 per head for 1.5 hours. Camera charges are extra. From Kolkata, you need to come to Bangalore by train or flight. You can then take a train/bus from Bangalore to Mysore and then rent a cab to Nagarhole
It was available online till some months back but because of some unknown reason, Gangotri booking has been taken down from the portal. You need to connect with Aranya Bhavan in Mysore for further queries

Thank you 1. It is a 9-seater Bolero Jeep and entire jeep is for you only. They will not club people with you 2. Absolutely safe to travel this distance. It is 5 kms only and take 15 mins only so no need to start at 4:45am. It will be dark and there can be animals on the road, but it is safe. Just don’t step out of the vehicle as it is restricted and punishable. 3. Yes they can provide milk and tea 4. I booked JLR jeep safari online before going there. 5. Yes it is good road. Only after entering forest date from Veeranahosahalli, 5 kms stretch is bad. Rest all roads are good 6. Cheetah are only found in Kuno National Park in India which are migrated from Africa. I think you mean Leopard when you said Cheetah. I saw tiger, wilddogs etc multiple times in both Nagarhole and Bandipur but it all depends on your luck 7. There is no network and therefore Google maps don’t work 8. 3 hours JLR safari is better as you spend more time inside so chances of sighting is also better. Cost wise it is more 9. Hello. Do you mean Kabini River Lodge by JLR? If so, then they are very different from each other. In KRL you will get very good hospitality and safaris included. At this place you will get the real wildlife raw experience but no such facilities and luxury. You may get to see a tiger or a leopard just outside this property

Night experience is very good. You can hear deer alarm calls throughtout the night and if you are lucky, you can see tiger/leopard/elephant just outside your cottage. But just dont go there to see animals. The overall experience is amazing. The next vlog will give you some idea about the place

Hello. Do you mean Kabini River Lodge by JLR? If so, then they are very different from each other. In KRL you will get very good hospitality and safaris included. At this place you will get the real wildlife raw experience but no such facilities and luxury. You may get to see a tiger or a leopard just outside this property

@@arjunyuga Yes only option for Jeep safari is JLR safari which you can book online and should book well in advance as it has limited seats. Price is around 2242 per seat. Select Nanchi gate as starting point which is 5kms from the cottage. Also if you ask the caretaker, he will inform the safari driver and he can pick you from cottage itself. You don’t have to go to namchi gate
I am trying to book stays but it is only showing Tiger Reserve Dormitory 1 & 2. Does it come like this?
There are dormitories and 2 rooms namely Gangotri 3 and 4. Try to book the rooms
You can book rooms at forest department office in Mysore

If we take the driver for car where does they will sleep? Can they sleep in car?
Drivers are not allowed to sleep in the car. You can book him a bed in dormitory once you reach there.
bro whats the pride for four people for dormitory?
For dormitories, you need to book minimum of 8 beds. Per bed rate is 2200 per night. I would suggest to take both Gangothri 3 and 4 for 4 adults. It would be cheaper as well. Rate per room is 3290 per night

১) এখানে থেকে কি কাবিনিতে সাফারী করা যায়? JLR থেকে শুধু জিপ সাফারী কি বুক করা সম্ভব।কারণ অনলাইনে বাস/ক্যান্টার সাফারী দেখাচ্ছে।আপনি সন্তোষ নামের কোনো ভদ্রলোকের উল্লেখ করলেন যিনি সাফারীর গাড়ি নিয়ে আসবেন।তাঁর নম্বর কি পাওয়া যাবে।
২) nagarholeএর এই রেস্ট হাউসে থেকে কি বান্দিপুরে সাফারী করা সম্ভব।কারণ আমি কলকাতা থেকে ব্যাঙ্গালোর হয়ে মাইসোর যাচ্ছি।মাইসোর থেকে nagarhole হয়ে wayanad চলে যাবো।আমার জঙ্গলে তিন দিন থাকার প্ল্যান আছে যদি একটু গাইড করেন খুব ভালো হয়

Night experience is very good. You can hear deer alarm calls throughtout the night and if you are lucky, you can see tiger/leopard/elephant just outside your cottage. But just dont go there to see animals. The overall experience is amazing. The next vlog will give you some idea about the place
