Capsized Ultimate 20

October 27, 2013 Richmond Yacht Club, Great Pumpkin Regatta
Ultimate 20 capsized during Sunday pursuit race in the slot east of Alcatraz.
Javelin picked up one crew member, the others were picked by SFPD boat that came bit later.

An Ultimate 20 with a wheel and 5 crew? Not so much. This looks like a J105.

The capsized boat is on the left of the boat the camera is on. They approach and pluck them from the water

Anyone know what happen to the boat? Sink? Salvaged?

The do not have the righting moment to come back up when they go over. You have to stand on the keel to right them. They should not be allowed in PHRF.

The extremely dangerous Ultimate 20. The should not be allowed to compete.
