I think it's great the way you approach things. Realistic goals ( making the A, lead lap finishes, etc. ) and learning as you go. Watching the pros to learn what you can. And I love the fact that you sounded genuinely excited when that guy told you he was a fan during the caution. Good luck tomorrow, and again, THANK YOU for taking us along for the ride!!
hy tanner just grabbed a new hat and i am happy every day and that is because of you and you always have a smile on your face and when i am sad i watch you vids and then im happy the rest of the day and i love you man
Another slick dirt track racing vid from the kid 18T Tanner Holmes. Can't wait till you drop the Wichita KS 81 Speedway vid tomorrow on Friday. Your family is top notch! Does your sister race Karts she should she is Ultimately insane on your team. Excellent Work Ethic!!
And your mom got better skills than me on my vids. I got a few check them out sometime. I was born with cerebral palsy in my legs so Im very rare to go atop of grandstands but I love covering many angles minus her best. Tell her we said "Keepitgoingmomsyourock"
Great job!!! Avoided some potential disasters and finished with no Jacobs ladder without destroying the car is a win of its own. Small part change and go to the next one. Well done.
Young man it’s a pleasure watching u. U don’t even make up excuses even obvious ones like in the heat ur car looked a touch off u said it was on u. That is very refreshing knowing the future of our great sport is in good hands Stay humble and keep learning and getting and you’ll be in victory lane with the ascs series in no time.
Hey, I made the video! I’m on the fire rescue track crew and I never got a chance to meet you in the pits so when we responded to the small fire I figured now or never lol! Thanks again for being so cool about it! Hope to see you around these parts again. Great video again! Hopefully see you in a midget for chili bowl
Tanner, you're not tearing up the race car, and you are learning every time out at these new tracks. That is a win - win situation! Get after em next time out! Great trip so far!
How about riding up front with pops in the hauler and doing a little Q and A type vlog. Maybe gets dad opinion on the trip , competition, what it's like hauling for the family that type stuff
Tanner.. were you able to finish high school with covid-19 and all? I know you are a good student. How are you going to blend your racing and your scholastics going forward?
Tanner....... Please learn how to correctly install the right side head pad onto the seat after washing the car before a severe injury may occur when things go really badly (crash)...... I thought I saw the same scenario in an earlier video this season, but can't find it now....... Please fix that and educate the others around you about this....It IS a really big deal...
The pond in the middle at one time was a mud boggin pit for mud races. And as far as I can recall it has always taken rubber. Although the style of cars I work on do well by dimming the corners off. Essentially what everyone was doing in this video. Although I do know we normally used a 100 points lower gear than everyone else ran at Caney. 81 is definitely a tire eating track with regards to the Hoosiers. The American Racers do much better from my perspective on that abrasive surface. Needless to say both tracks have been good tracks for teams I have work with. Because either we have won at both or finished in the top three. Yet if you want a small bullring of a dirt track. Peoria Illinois is the smallest dirt track I have ever been too in my career. Since it really should be hosting Red Bluff Outlaw style cars. Not full size cars like the style I've worked on or a sprint car. Yet we did well enough to win with a bend racecar. Although I have seen more fights at that one track in one night than I seen at any other track in one night. That is how demanding Peoria is from my perspective.

You made my sons night by taking the time after the races to take a picture with him. He’s a huge fan of yours.

Keep grinding Tanner, you are learning so much hang in there great things and wins are just around the corner. God Bless soak it all in.
Your doing a great job. I like how you were able to maintain your position in the A main! Best of luck in your next one.

Are you racing at RANDOLPH COUNTY RACEWAY Sunday in moberly Missouri?
I wish!
Whats the reason you guy go out for engine heat, I see in other videos mechanics torquing some bolts after its hot??
Just to fire and get the engine running. There are small things we sometimes do (check timing, and other things) but usually just to fire up
How about riding up front with pops in the hauler and doing a little Q and A type vlog. Maybe gets dad opinion on the trip , competition, what it's like hauling for the family that type stuff

Butler...hmmmh.
I just realized that and I appreciate your comment of concern. It will 100 percent be fixed for all future races!
Tanner have you ever ran a tinted visor with the low sun? If no, would you in the future?
I don't like the tinted visor. I usually deal fine with the sun for the most part!
Hang in there
That’s one of my home tracks it always takes Rubber
Don't really care for the single file starts i think they should only do that with 10 to go
I live there and race there it’s not a bad track
how do you know about him?
Lol “ I like fortnite and I race cars fast’’
Elbows up and be safe 👍
where is your smaller rear end gear...
What are you exactly asking?
The pond in the middle at one time was a mud boggin pit for mud races.

First Finnaly. Doing great Tanner.

You have a good sister, enjoy her while you are able.
Yeah..your sisters knuckle bump was not casual. It's obvious you're very close. Big brothers and little sisters.. a nice combination.

The pond is first because caney race way is a flood zone
