I love the relationship you have with your dad. There’s a beautiful phrase out there to do with problems if only I could remember it. Basically if it’s a problem you can solve do it if not and it’s out of your control there’s no point worrying about it
Try and cut out the coffee at breakfast time and see how that works out for you. Of all the many times you have taken the train.. have you ever forgotten something behind? You're lucky to have your dad... I sure miss mine. He was 95 when he passed, so he had a great long life. Enjoy your week!! 💗
Imo it might be worth checking in with the GP re: change in bowel habits. Keep a diary of what you are eating and keep track of bowel movements. It could be IBS but any change should be checked out. Bowel habits can also change during the menopause too... could it be a side effect from the HRT?
Hiya Imo its great when you achive a lot the day before and then just relax for the following day , sad that some of the group have left and retired but am sure there will many more talented people to join, and glad you had another good gig :) :) x 😀😀
Hi Imo , glad the gig went well , I do enjoy your vlogs and what you do during your day, would love to see you one day do a vlog of yourself playing the guitar and singing 😊😊 Take care ❤️😊x
IBS is miserable but there is prescription medication that can help control it. Also if you google "IBS diet" you will get a good idea of what to eat during any type of tummy flare ups. I hope you feel better. 😻
Just a thought, the tummy could be one of the many (50 or so) peri menopause symptoms. Mine tend to come in spells or a few months then a new one starts. All my allergies have got worse since peri, even with hrt a lot are still here 😐 . Digestive issues, joint pain …. The list is endless.
Yep. I have had horrendous bouts of tummy trouble at both ends of the spectrum that come and go out of nowhere since perimenopause. I get none of the usual symptoms like hot flashes or anything. But tummy trouble, palpitations, facial and limb numbness, stupidly dry, sore eyes, joint pain in joints I don’t normally have trouble with. It goes on and on
@@mariannetuite7411 Same as me. No hot flashes, just feel hot 24/7. Joint pain, digestive issues, allergies worse than they have ever been. Started getting the palpitations and thuds, had ecg, 48hr monitor, echo etc and it was put down to peri. Was getting the palps for a few months then it would stop and i would get something else, then another round of palps. Its like a competition with the symptoms every few months to which one is going to be rated my worse symptom lol. Dry sore eyes seems to be a constant though. Have eye drops from the optician now.
Same, on pretty much all counts. I was suspected of having had a stroke at one point, and another time was almost taken in for brain surgery as I have a shunt which they thought was overworking. After getting every test going “no, you’re fine. It’s likely *just* perimenopause”
Hi Imo! I loved the video. Maybe you could do a self test for celiac disease and lactose intolerance, it could help you choose a more suitable breakfast! ❤ X
Hi Imo I find the oat barista curdles but the unsweetened soya is fine. You should try cooking your spicy noodles just in water, drain and then add the sauce powder to the cooked noodles at the same time as the oil, mix it in and it blows your nose off 😂
Avoid dairy when your tummy is playing up. Drink mint tea. I carry Buscopan tablets. I had my gallbladder out during lockdown. I’ve gone gluten free, lactose free (or dairy free during a tummy flare up) and I no longer eat garlic or onions. I have to avoid certain fruits and vegetables too. Keep a food diary to see if there’s a link or trigger to the tummy problems. Buscopan are really good though. I’d love to hear you and your band in your videos. Any chance? xx
Good question. I really can't remember as it was so ling ago that I had that 2nd bout of Covid. My most recent one was my third. Sorry I couldn't answer your question! x
Well I wondered that, but there have been occasions when I ate just plain toast or rice cakes and still have coffee and the stomach is fine. My coffee is mostly decaf, but in Isle of Man I drank full caffeine coffee with breakfast but only toast and stomach was still fine. I was wondering about soya… cheers!
Thank you Imo ..xxx
Fruit often upset my dad’s digestive system. Sometimes finding out what is causing it is a process of elimination.

I wish I could help you with the tummy trouble issues. They're a mystery to me also.
