@@misstine7331 Oh yeah definitely! I still need to try it with a sponge to see if that helps but dang, it looks makeupy on my skin with a brush at least...ugh.
I swatched it in store and it seemed really dry so I skipped it but it sounds like it actually performs nicely on oily skin? I swing back and forth between dry and oily (due to being off and on Accutane) so might be a good choice for my oilier days! Thx!
The finish looks lovely🤩, a shame about the shades though. They don't even sell the 1cr shade here but it seems to be too dark anyway and mixing like you said won't work. I don't understand why there are never half shades available in the fair cool tones. I always see the neutral and warm tones available in 0.5 or 1.5. But the cool tones go straight from 0 to 1 or 1 to 2. So i always end up buying 2 shades because i'm usually between 2 shades 😅😭
EXACTLY...they have started adding an almost ridiculouse 'white' shade at the bottom of the range often but it is always yellow or neutral and frankly it's so light I can't imagine there are too many people who actually can use it. They really seem to struggle often with that cool toned second to lightest shade often...usually too peachy, too pink and too dark...sigh. I also usually have to buy 2 shades and mix them but it just doesn't work all that well with a stick formula...I tried! It just made parts of my face look dirty! 🤣
I've been warming up to the Huda foundation...gotta use a sponge I think, and this one super surprised me on shade (like 4 shades that were too light for me!) I ended up getting Cashew which is pretty spot on for me. This one doesn't let a whole lot of skin show through so it's really important to get the right color for you otherwise your neck and chest will look crazy next to your face 🤭 I'm also trying the new Tirtir matte foundation so I think I will indeed do a review of both of those as more full coverage style foundations. ;-)
I've had a similar experience with the Huda foundation 😌 I found it to be excessively heavy, cakey, and uncomfortable on the skin. The texture and finish didn't agree with me, leaving my skin feeling weighed down and unpleasantly made-up 🙈

Thank you for the review. It does look beautiful on you❤ definitely picking this up at the sale
Absolutely beautiful ✨🙏 Have you tried the new Huda beauty easy blur foundation and primer? 😃
Skip to the Huda section at the end…🤭😬 I’m not so sure about that one…
@@redgirlreviewsoops! I was too eager haha 😂 Aha I see, I was actually worried it was for more oily skin 🙈

Try the Ilia stick foundation. It’s a lovely finish even on my oily skin.

Thank you for trying the other shade too. Let's me know it would not match me.
Yes it really helps when there is such a huge jump in color between the two in shade range!

@@Sandra.Viewer yeah I’m actually kinda surprised at how bad it is 😳😬

@Sandra.Viewer I’m 49 and I love it for my textured aging skin!
Oh wait did you mean the Huda beauty one? Definitely agree about that one, prob not for anything but the oiliest skin, so likely young skin yes.
Sorry I’m on my phone and I can barely see it without my glasses 😂. Because…old.😅
