The deepest, the most piercing, the most heavy yet soaring. The profundity inside this music and its realization during this particular performance... etc.
I have to sing "Media Vita" in school. As soon as I heard it I fell in love! Its absolutely outstanding and beautiful. I love the kind of haunting melody.
Currently doing this with a choir and singing a tenor part (sung by countertenors in this recording) is a killer as we get no break for the first 17 minutes even though we are doing it a tone lower!

This is my ancestors music. My grandpa Shepard has a document listing him as one of my ancestors. I am extremely humbled.
May god bless you...to have such a one as an ancestor!!😇😊
My brothers memorial music from 22 and a half years ago in 2000.. This version by The Tallis Scholars. 30 when he took his life

So rich in colors; vocal music is absolutely beautiful.

I believe the performing ensemble is Stile Antico--unless someone knows better. Wonderful, profound music sung gorgeously.
sophelet it's The Tallis Scholars. I have this version on CD
Tallis Scholars. Unmistakable upper tessitura
It’s the Tallis Scholars, and it’s a tone higher than written. They do this because they can!
One of my favorites
Senza alcun dubbio.
(performed by the Tallis Scholars)

The pitch is too high, in my opinion.
No it's the Tallis Scholars. See above.
