- Residents of Majdal Shams gather to demonstrate against the arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the site of a strike in the Israel-annexed Golan Heights. Twelve youths aged between 10 and 16 were killed when a rocket fired from Lebanon struck a football pitch, triggering renewed fears of an escalation in the conflict between Israel and Lebanese Hezbollah armed group accused of firing the projectile.

The Druze in the Z*ionist army are a minority, and basically service in the army there is mandatory and the penalties for refusing to serve are severe (imprisonment, fines, not finding a civilian job..), and only some Jews have the right to refuse service for religious reasons, while Israeli Arabs do not have the right to refuse for religious or ethnic reasons. In any case: the Druze of the Golan serve much less in the Z*ionist army, and basically most of them even refuse Israeli citizenship.
