Tim doesn't fry his lowest notes, thus the clarity. While I admire those bass singers who can fry (and the sound guys who make it sound good), I would still prefer low notes that are natural, which is why Tim is my favorite living bass. Tim also has a spectacular tone (which his replacements seem to magically acquire, to a degree...probably a product of Tim teaching them?)
@@chadwinningham4302 I like the natural voice better than the fry too. I think timbre and warmth are more important to a good singer than sheer range. If you haven't already, check out Geoff Castellucci's singing, alone (nice cover of Sixteen Tons) and with the group VoicePlay (You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch). I like a good bone rattling low note too, but a warm smooth sound is my favorite.

@lubbockhigh44 You can tell he doesn't fry by how smooth he is all the way down to his lowest note! Did you see the other Tim Riley songs I posted including Wonderful Time Up There?
@lubbockhigh44 Tim Riley is well known for not frying (in fact he told me himself he doesn't like vocal fry and doesn't sing a note if he can't hit it in full voice). I've heard him sing with no microphone and he sounds VERY smooth down to around A1 just on his own!
Awesome!!! Tim never disappoints!!!!
I really like this music... very good voices. Greetings from Greece
Wow Tim!!!! You are awesome!
Hallelujah
Awesome! Great! Fantastic! Love this voice! Wish I could sing as low as Tim with the same quality to serve my Saviour

@lubbockhigh44
Anytime! Tim is awesome isn't he? Smooth, low and flawless! Always on pitch and easy to understand when he sings.

Agreed, I have spoken with the guy, and he speaks at *least* an A1 that could be heard 50 feet away.
Anything featuring Tim Riley, do you have wonderful time up there? Thanks
