Mickey’s Runaway Railway breaks down for 2nd time

- At Disney World. Waited in line for an hour and everyone was kicked out because the ride stopped working. Saw some riders on it in mid-ride and the lights came on.
Came back later and they said it had been fixed, but when the ride started it broke again. Had my camera ready just in case, since the first time they played a recording saying “Please no photos or video” and I’m always happy to embarrass the Disney company whenever I can.
Sorry for the bad camerawork but didn’t want to make it obvious I was recording, the light came on my iPhone also which I was trying to hide. None of the people appearing in this gave their consent, if they object then I’m sorry. - Розваги
Probably a bit better than the day the Steel Phantom @ Kennywood (Pittsburgh) got stuck ~3/4 of the way up the lift hill (160'). Was at lunch in the employee café, heard some kind of commotion outside, looked up and out the window towards the lift hill and watched as a bunch of riders had to be walked down the maintenance scaffold from 12 stories up.
Yes, the ride was finally fixed.
My boat was once stuck on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride for 10 minutes behind a former cast member who said this was normal. I used to go to Disneyland whenever I could in the 1980s and 1990s when my Grandparents lived in SoCal, and I don't remember it ever being this bad.
I tried to get on Mr. Toad last month, but it broke down JUST was we were about to go in. And I mean they had to go inside and evacuate everyone.
Was that in CA or FL? This is my first time in FL and had 2 rides break down at Epcot yesterday (one was fixed later at least) and now 2 today with one being fixed, and an attempt at this one.
Cali. Runaway Railway also went down for like 10 seconds while I was on line, Big Thunder Mountain's lighting lane was so packed guests were being turned away, and "World of Color" was cancelled less than an hour before showtime.
@@Kartoonkid95Sat next to a broken seat on Star Tours here also. Seems like they’re slipping.
Sadly, that is very much the case. Nobody hates Disney as much as Disney hates itself, and this lackadaisical attitude towards maintenance is a reflection of that existential self-loathing.
