Blood will always be the most underrated FPS ever. Sure, Doom is better and more important. Sure, Duke is more iconic. Sure, Half-Life has better story. But Blood? It's fucking insane and full of personality.

Even if they have faced a huge resurgence as of late they are still niche nowadays. And while both blood and doom have some obsolete elements doom has much more so than blood. Design is timeless which is why doom aged well and is still considered maybe even more enjoyable than newer shooters but blood also has great design but is also on the build engine which is a lot less outdated.

Blood is wonderful. It's joyfully dark and gory, painfully underrated, and kicks my ass so hard I can't walk after playing the game for more than 10 minutes.
