At least the heal is more consistent on Chaos Slayer. And it's still usable as a farming class. Just not AS good as others. But it's still a jack of all trades class. And a fun one at that.
Personally, VHL could have the same treatment as Legion Revenant's Infinita Nox if they so want to implement Abyssal Sacrifice that badly. If it were to be, Abyssal Sacrifice should have a lower chance to be applied if it were to proc on all skills including autos. Edit: VHL is bound to get a nerf but not in a way I'd imagined it. How about making the class medium-ranged instead of melee range?

My first impressions is that Artix seems to be trying to flatten the power creep with these changes, and I think it's going in the right direction. I feel that most of these nerfs and buffs are necessary to help keep the game healthy. Especially the vhl nerf. I felt that it was a mistake for it to be buffed as it was. It was simply too powerful.

It still has one of the highest dps in the game. So stop with that nonsense of the class being "ruined". And secondly, vhl deserved to be nerfed because it was too good. It's dps was way too high. The next best class didn't even come close to vhl dps. And aside from the absurdly high dps, vhl was stealing niches of other classes such as LR. Vhl was practically a better farming class than LR. That isn't good. So come out of your fantasy world and stop being a cry baby.

Vhl can take about a month or so of dedicated farming to get where as LR can take about 4 months to get. Secondly, the removal of range is necessary because it the range was letting beat LR and other farming classes at farming. vhl is NOT a farming class and was NEVER supposed to be one. For it to be able to out farm LR is a mistake. Also, the removal of range doesn't even effect the soloing capability of it or even group fights at all, especially when there is a setting in the launcher to lock monster positions. This means that the monster you're fighting will be locked in a single position for the entire fight for you. Vhl is still one of the best classes in the game. It still out preforms every other class in solo dps. It is still an S teir class.

Since it have around 95% dodge and fastest aa in game, slap on it powerword die and you will be able to kill any boss that dont ignore dodge quite fast. For example I used it to solo Icewing for DoT 30 laurels in like 20-25 minutes

As it stands now, it's a better at farming than practically every other farming class available. The only classes that I'd say is better at farming than it is LR, Master of Moglins and Nechronomaner.

In order, it's MoM > LR > DoT = NCM. MoM is decently in the lead but LR is still extremely good, with DoT and NCM being a couple ticks slower. VL is kinda dead and CS (for farming) is very dead. If you're a mid-level player, SS or BB are probably better now.
