I have been using mine for a few days now. im really impressed with it. Its extremely comfortable once you dial the headgear in. I use it on 11-15 pressure daily and havent had any signs of leaking. No leaks detected on my machine thru the night.
Do you have a beard? Do you like the seal around the nose?
@@doughudgens9275 I in fact have a massive beard. Lol. I feel it seals really well. I have used an array of masks to find a good fit with my beard and this one is actually one of the better ones imo
G'day mate, if you can spare a moment could you please complete the short F40 feedback survey i have made - cpap.review/airfit-f40-feedback . The results will be shared on the channel in a few weeks. Cheers
@@CPAPReviews you got it man. Done 💪
absolute legend brother!@@RockinRedneck09
Welp. It definitely passes the eyeball test. I'm really interested in seeing more regarding the seal under high pressures.
I have my pressure capped at 10 and I had some leaks around the mouth only if I was on my back. side sleeping was no issue and the nose sealed great . everyone's face shape is different. I was going to order the large cushion but my supplier didn't have it yet. so for now Im back to my p30
Been using mine for three nights. I'm not going back to my old mask. I did fill our the survey, Uncle Nick.
Absolute legend! The cpap community and myself thank you for your time. Cheers
Hey im new to cpap about 3 weeks in. Use a resmed f20 full mask and its been grand but a bit uncomfortable around the top of my nose and struggle to watch tv in bed because it seems to push my eyes up! This one seems like a good solution but im a very heavy mouth breather so just checking suitability. Learning as i go. Loving the videos! All the best from Ireland!!
Have you tried a different mask size? Or played extensively with the straps? It shouldn’t be pushing your eyes up like that.
Hey David, if you have a spare moment, i'd really appreciate it if you would be so kind as to complete a short F40 feedback survey i've prepared. The results of which will be shared with the world to help guide other CPAP users. Cheers
This F40 mask is phenomenal!
As a side sleeper, I’d tried them all and settled on the Evora FFM as the best of the bunch
But, this mask takes the comfort and sealing to a new level😊.
Hi there, if you have a spare moment can you please complete a very short F40 feedback survey. Much appreciated. The results will be shared with the world on the channel. Cheers
As someone who has the evora, you should try the F40. Game changer.
I’m a couple weeks into CPAP and have been struggling with masks. The struggle disappeared once I got this mask! First time getting amazing sleep in 15 years!
Awesome! If you have a spare moment can you please share your feedback - cpap.review/airfit-f40-feedback
I ordered one Monday and I'm supposed to get it on Friday. Looking forward to trying it with my AirMini (the F30i I'm using with my AirSense 11 is too loud with the AirMini!) and seeing if it could also work for me instead of the F30i all the time. I'm a side sleeper and switch from 1 side to the other during the night so the top connection works well for me, but I haven't used any other mask in the 2.5 months since I started using a machine for comparison either.
just a fun note from one of your previous videos in where you say you are washing your cpap hose right? your facial expressions are priceless!
Glad you enjoy them Rob
I picked mine up the day of release and had it in hand the next day. As a long-time F20 user, I've been looking for a more minimal mask for so long that I never thought I'd find one which could fill the F20's shoes. The F40 definitely is my favorite I've tried so far. It combines the amazing side-sleep comfort of the F30i with the silence of the F20. I've had a few nights where I've been a bit congested and I went back to my F20, but for the most part, I've stuck with the F40 and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.
Hi Dan, if you have a spare moment and would like to help me, the channel and millions of cpap users all over the world, could you please complete a short F40 feedback survey i have prepared - cpap.review/airfit-f40-feedback . Your insights and other users will be shared on the channel in the coming weeks. Cheers
I really want to try this mask, even though I prefer my mouth not be covered.
I’ve had my AirFit F40 for almost two weeks now, and out of the half dozen or so masks I’ve used over the past decade or so, it’s the best of those. It’s quite comfortable, though the frame presses on my cheeks sometimes, and when I turn on my side there’s significantly less leakage apparently due to the cushion having no rigid component.
Hi Debbie, that's great to hear! If you have a spare moment could you please complete a short F40 feedback survey - cpap.review/airfit-f40-feedback . I'll be sharing the the results on the channel shortly. Cheers
@@CPAPReviews Done! One of the questions was worded ambiguously, the one about whether you would continue to use the mask or switch back, the answer could be yes, no, or maybe, and it would be potentially misleading either way
That for $150? I was expecting a better cushion on that thing, and not like the cheap cushion that my CPAP rental sent me.
I'm confusted. This is a full face mask but it says to set Resmed 11 @ "Pillows" setting.
Because this new Full Face mask has a small 15mm piece of flexitube the added resistance drops the pressure at the mask and as such you need to choose the pillow setting to compensate for that drop in pressure (Very confusing i know!)
Any good for a beard?
Nice mask, kinda combo of F30/F20 with Evora Full/Amara View vibes. Rock the Hybrid!
looks a lot the fisher and paykle one i am using with my res med Bi Pap
I am getting this and have high hopes. I get such bags under my eyes and even bubbles on my eyeballs from the other masks.
Cross your fingers this will work for me.
Nice one! Some of the feedback from users who have completed the feedback survey - cpap.review/airfit-f40-feedback have said that has improved so good luck. If you can also complete the survey after you have trialled the mask i would love to read your feedback. Cheers
Really with they’d make these with nasal pillows.
Wow, looks good
Just ordered mine
F30i user here, have been successfully for a couple of years now after trying others with mixed results.... Purchased 3 x F30i M regular frame over the journey as the little plastic mask frame clips eventually break... and found eBay the cheapest (by far) source. Now seeing your review here I would like to try this F40 design, but beyond buying from 'official' (i.e. expensive) sellers (chemists), I don't see the F40 on eBay. Any suggestions where I may get one at a reasonable price? Thanks for your excellent work and advice here 🙂 PS, I'm located in Melbourne Aus
How does the mask material compare to the Evora Full? I find that because it's firmer, it is way less prone to leaks.
Ya know, as nice as I believe the F40 Full Face Mask would be, I cannot use it. It has magnets. I have a Pacemaker/Defibrillator within 6 inches of the magnet for the head gear. Nuff said?
Hi I am from Singapore i bought one F40 and compared it for 1 week . The built of the frame is solid , lesser leaks too .But surprisingly i had more hypopnea -"H" as compared to a F30i i thinks it might be i am side sleeper . The pipe in front might be blocking my airways ? i reverted and my readings of Hypopnea lessen.
Interesting, but so disappointing they just don't add a diffuse for all the air that blows in your partners face. I love fisher and paykel for the brevida.
I had nose surgery years ago and still don’t like things pushing on my nose (at bridge it’s fine). Does this do that? Also how is it with facial hair?
Do we know when this will be available in Aus?
Nice one
How do you find the effectiveness of the seal with your beard?
It looks similar to the Philips Amara View which doesn’t work well with my big snoz and beard. (And it’s very noisy)
I'm going to sleep with it on different pressure levels and share the leak data. Cheers
I bought this mask a week ago and every day I wake up and the magnets have fallen off. They are not very strong. Also, I am I am having very, very high leaks.

Great unboxing video
Thank you 🤗
Loved the wink!
I just might have to buy one of these... Great unboxing!
Hi Nick, Is there new setup for Nosal ?? I have setup for REsmed unit 10, need replaced the nose unit every month. Hoping you can help.
My F40 mask arrived today. I used it for only an hour so far, during my afternoon ciesta (I hope I spelled that right), so this review is based on only a short amount of time. That said, this is my impressions so far.
1. I like the head harness. I was developing sores along the back of my neck with the F10, but I don't think this one will do that. It's really comfy.
2. The part that the mask that covers the mouth is comfy and once I got it adjusted I don't think it leaked at all, and I have a a full face beard though it is kept short.
3. But the section that extends to the underneath of my nose may take some while to get used to. It seems to “bunch up” a bit. Maybe it'll just take some getting used to.
That said, in looking at my charts on OSCAR and SleepHQ, the time frame between 2:42 and 3:05 PM all look better than I’ve seen in quite some time, other than my snore rate looking weird. I think I might have even dozed off for those 22-23 minutes, and it was during that time that I was laying on my left side. My pillow didn’t move the mask and the seal was tight. When I jolted awake at 3:05 I felt pretty good.
So I’m really anxious to see how I do tonight when I go to bed.
I am really struggling to find a good mask for me. The F30i doesn’t seal around my nose well and can’t sleep because of the air. F20 works well but leaves a red mark on the bridge if my nose to the point it’s an open wound. Idk what to do.
I called yesterday to see if I could get the F40. I was told that she didn't think there was an F40, they had an F20. I said I had watched your video and you were in Australia. She said that made sense. She checked with her supervisor who said they were awaiting delivery to the warehouse. They checked and it had just been added to the inventory. So I am the first to order from them in this area. I sure hope it is as good as is said! I liked the Dreamware but after being in the hospital for nearly a month it just doesn't fit anymore. I will give my opinion after I receive it, not that it counts for much.
Hi mate I’ve been using the cpap machine for about two years and unfortunately it’s not working well for me. The main problem is I’m still snoring with it on with the full face mask can you give me any advice on what my options are thanks
I have a beard like yours. cannot get a good seal without making it so tight that its not even worth it! Was really looking forward to this one. Any recommendation for a full mask for someone with a beard? I used to use the resmed pillows but I need something that covers my mouth as well better than my mouthtape did. LOVE this content as i'm new to CPAP and pay out of pocket so your channel helps me not waste my hard earned cash!
I have a beard I use the resmed air touch f20 the foam liner provides a good seal for me I find
I use the F30i and I’ve a good seal until my beard grows out a bit. If I keep it below a 4 on the shaver it’s fine. Longer than that I’ve to go tighter which is uncomfortable
I have a fairly full beard (I keep my stache relatively short- no true handlebar- but my beard is ~6" long) and have had decent luck with the F&P Vitera so far. I'd love something like the F40 though as I don't love having the full face mask sitting on the bridge of my nose; I'm a little skeptical the F40 would seal well for me though. Look forward to more reviews from bearded users.
It wont. And funny the Vitera is one of the ones I am looking at. Well at least we helped eachother here!
@@garethv7815 Definitely the kind of answers I need! specifics are so important with these masks.
Is it better than the evora!? Is the headgear that same shitty stretchy material resmed has been using in the past?
When is it available downunder?
So tell us what’s it like with the whiskers
I’m in the uk so still got a bit of a wait B4 get our hands on one
My husband got one. It's very quiet. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Patricia, I would greatly appreciate it if he would be so kind as to complete a short feedback survey on the mask - cpap.review/airfit-f40-feedback . I'll be sharing the results with the world shortly. Cheers
I forwarded the email to him. FYI he's also a Pro Member and uses the Magic Uploader.
@@CPAPReviews He completed the survey. 👍
I wonder if they’ll sell a hose jacket for the short section of hose that comes with the mask. Also I wonder if the straps will leave marks on the face in the morning after use. I’m debating ordering and trying it out. Currently like the F20.
There is actually a cover that is preinstalled on the section that goes across the cheek. I have not seen any marks on my face in the morning.
Can I use that type of mask with an Airsense 10? If so, I really want to give that a go and see how it works. Thanks.
Yes, it has a standard hose connector.
@@berts4877 Thank you!
Its always handy to have a spare...still going strong with the Solo😀
Glad to hear it bro
test it for leaks at 12, 15 and 20 pressures
yes sir
Interesting - the hose is not nearly long enough for folks that turn in their sleep. But I am curious about the part that goes over the mouth and under the nose. Just not curious enough to spend the money for the rig.
G'day Ed, the hose connects up to your main hose from CPAP so it actually adds a bit of extra length and we can all do with a bit of extra length in the bedroom
@@CPAPReviews I just about choked on my cereal reading that x)
@@CPAPReviews 🤣
@@CPAPReviews That answers the same concern I had. I wasn't sure how that short hose would stretch to the same length hose I got now. Thanks for clarifying that Nicko.
Magnets ugh
yep!
