Thanks for sharing. I love how are you continually emphasize that it’s your partner who wanted to placed in that horrible spot. Toss them right under the bus! Lol
Thanks for the demonstration. I guess if they cut it off with an angle grinder it will just beep constantly? Once it starts the high pitched beep, it won't stop until you use the key?
I placed mine under my saddle with a smarttag+ attached to it. It's a relatively dry area. My complaints are that the box doesn't work above 26c and under 0c. And the battery drains too fast. Does anyone else have cons ? Great video btw.
Stupid question but does anybody knows how can I reomove it once installed? :D I know I should insert the key and rotate it but no matter what nothing happens? Thanks
Well, I wonder with that much movement whether it would just do the high-pitched beep until a key is used. If there's a body of water nearby I guess they can just throw it in there, but in my underground parking garage it would just keep beeping loudly. Granted, there isn't anyone around in the middle of the night to hear it, but it might spook them off enough. I'm looking for an alarm and might end up getting this.
The front fork is the thing that moves the most on accident when parked, when somebody bumps the steering wheel? It is not stabilized when parking. I would not put it there.

no remote?
Hi can you fit an AirTag inside the box?
Looks to be made entirely out of metal, so no.

I had this happen to after heavy rainfall. Just spray some oil in it to loosen the mechanism. let it soak for a bit. i applied loads :D
Wjat stops a thief from just snapping those zip-ties with a cheap cutter or even scissors?
My thoughts exactly.
I think that there are holes in alarmbox plate for screwing it to fork/frame

Late... but those are metallic zip ties, but indeed cuttable with the right tools. Alarmbox just adds on extra annoyance to additional locks.
Nice review, but $10 chinese bike alarms look safer.
