Thank you for being so prepared with your tutorials! I've seen a few lately that, well, aren't. It makes viewing so much more fun. Also, your clean tabletop is refreshing! I am not a neat nick but appreciate the effort you go through. Thank you!
Thank you for one of the best tutorials I have watched. You explained each and every step of the way clearly and made sure we could view it as you were sewing it. I can't wait to make this for my granddaughter for Christmas. I will be watching more of your videos in the future. i am going to download the pattern tonight and hopefully start the bag tomorrow.
I love this camera angle the BEST! It really helps me. Also, thank you for keeping in the pattern pieces. I would love a video showing how to cut the pieces too. Only if you don't mind. It really does help me. Thanks for all of your wonderful video's.
Fantastic video again... I'm so glad you will continue to show the pattern pieces..helps me not feel so overwhelmed and also to see where and what interfacing etc you used. I'm in the middle of an Every Day tote but now I want this one! I like the handles better with the longer attachments and the connectors like that. Maybe I'll sort of work a bit of a combo. It's too late for me to go smaller but I'd prefer that about this one too. Hmmm! Ooh I must watch you very closely.. during your recessed zipper section you got to a corner and I said in my head " one more stitch " and you spun it round and went one more stitch to get the new seam width right...without saying a word hehehe. Have a good weekend ...Lindy xo
Kassiah, how do you get the edges of your accent pieces so clean, could you make a video of you cutting these pieces out, to show us how to get such a clean edge like you get? I love your videos. You do such a beautiful job on your bags.
Hi I enjoy your videos so much, thank you so much. Keep up the good work.Do you have an update version of this bag, I would love to see it. Keep making bags and wallets
You make making everyone of these bags look so dang easy!!! I’m curious if you think it could be possible to add a divider in the lining??? Or if you have done a bag with a divider if you would please point me in the right direction that would be awesome!!!! Thank you!!!!
ua-cam.com/video/k8AY3KzmpzY/v-deo.html - this shows how easy it is. I also watch some of the Chinese and Japanese bag making videos and there are several of those which show dividers, but most of them don't have subtitles. I think I copied one of JSDaily's divided bags. She does have subtitles in English and provides measurements.
Hi again Kassiah...I was just wondering if you might be interested in doing one of your brilliant tutorials for Swoon's Lola domed bag and/or their Louise Barrel bag please? I was so happy with my Marilyn wallet and matching Everyday Tote ( which I followed you with both, adding the exterior zipper pocket to the outside of the tote as you did, and I also did it at 80% as a smaller bag) purely because you were so fantastic to follow and I just love your tutorials the best, period. You give me confidence. I love your little modifications too ..don't mind at all when you include those, Many thanks ....Lindy x
Great suggestions I know Lauren Mormino has done multiple on the Lola, so that one I most likely will not do, but I will check into the Louise Barrel bag!
How big do you cut your zippered pocket and then how far down do you mark the rectangular box and how big is that box? Will beaking the Cici and want to do the pocket the way you do it.
Cut your zipper pocket smaller than your handle placement. And it’s been so long I don’t remember the size. I usually just take a ruler and put it up to the panel to determine size.
Adorable! Would you please do a video on The Calla from Blue Calla? I just asked in the fb group if there was a video and one hasn’t been made. Thanks!
I have sewn with the vegan leather, but not marine vinyl. I'm curious what is your opinion on the difference? I find the vegan leather can be sticky and a bit difficult especially doing the straps. I have a Janome Skyline 6 and it moves through pretty much everything.
Would you mind explaining why you use woven fuse 2 and decovil light? I was thinking of just using decovil light but didn’t know if I was missing out on an added benefit of using the WF2? Also not as familiar with WF2 can I use sf101 and get the same results. Thanks in advance for the info! Love watching your videos.
thanks Siah great video, why dont you put the fold of the inside pocket to the top ? then you wont have to cut it along the bottom , just means installing the zip down from the fold in the middle
Hi Siah, I am new to your videos but I am enjoying them tremendously! Can you tell me which rivet press you use. Keep making videos, I stoped sewing for a long time but you have gotten me back into it. In fact my husband just bought me a Janome 4120QDC.
Awe thank you! This is the one I bought. It is one of the cheaper ones, you can buy more expensive and fancier if you want 😂 www.amazon.com/dp/B00214HX4E?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I love the lazy way of doing zipper pockets but someone pointed out to me that when you open the pocket you can see the zipper tape edges inside, whereas they’re hidden when you do it with facing. Ever since they pointed it out I haven’t been able to bring myself to do it the lazy way in case someone notices but it’s soooo much quicker 😫
Yep, that's what I said too in the video, it has a nice finish on the inside. I guess I'll change my ways as soon as someone says they are bothered by it, but until then!.....
Is super super beautiful bag 😍😍😍 congratulations 😘😘😘
Love your shortcuts. They really help and sometimes make more sense to me than the pattern direction.
Another great tutorial love your fabric choices always beautiful
Your tutorials are wonderful and so easy to follow.
Thank you
Sooooooo beautiful.
Thank you for being so prepared with your tutorials! I've seen a few lately that, well, aren't. It makes viewing so much more fun. Also, your clean tabletop is refreshing! I am not a neat nick but appreciate the effort you go through. Thank you!

I love your teaching style!
Yr bags r very nice

Good job! so proud of you. very nice.

Great video as usual. I have learned so much from you and you are by far my favorite instructor. (It’s fine)😀
Thanks!
Another great video! Thank you for showing this pattern.
You are so welcome!
Very cute bag! I wish it was the same size as the Everyday Tote. I love your videos.
Oh she’s cute! I’m going to have to add this one to my list! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents with us!
Really nice combination and a beautiful bag! 👍
Siah what fun. Thank you so much. I love how my bag turned out!

merci beaucoup pour ce tuto 😍
Another wonderful video again. Love how that pattern went together and your choice of canvas :-) is so perfect with the vinyl. Great workmanship.
Thank you so much!

Hum, I just use a rotary cutter.... and go slow😀. Thank you for the kind words!
I used to sew armrest for cars and trucks and used an Adler industrial. Good machine too.
Hi I enjoy your videos so much, thank you so much. Keep up the good work.Do you have an update version of this bag, I would love to see it. Keep making bags and wallets
Yes I am going to do a live for the updated version I hope this week!
Really cute bag. Wow you have gotten so many new subscribers 🤩
Can you make a outside zipper pocket?
Yes you totally could in between the connectors
You make making everyone of these bags look so dang easy!!! I’m curious if you think it could be possible to add a divider in the lining??? Or if you have done a bag with a divider if you would please point me in the right direction that would be awesome!!!! Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much. No I haven’t ever done a divider, but I think it would be fairly easy on a bag like this...
ua-cam.com/video/k8AY3KzmpzY/v-deo.html - this shows how easy it is. SiahSwag thank you so much! That would be fantastic. Lindy x
love the video and the bag is lovely, would you consider doing the Yanna bag by Shamballa bags.
Ill take a look at it!
thank you, I enjoy all your videos they are a great help.
How do you finish the strap ends so neat and clean? Did I miss something in this video? Do you use glue to seal?
How big do you cut your zippered pocket and then how far down do you mark the rectangular box and how big is that box? Will beaking the Cici and want to do the pocket the way you do it.
Cut your zipper pocket smaller than your handle placement. And it’s been so long I don’t remember the size. I usually just take a ruler and put it up to the panel to determine size.
How do you iron the interfacing and decovil light to the canvas?
Get a Teflon sheet to cover your material and protect it from the heat.
Adorable! Would you please do a video on The Calla from Blue Calla? I just asked in the fb group if there was a video and one hasn’t been made. Thanks!
Hello! Unfortunately this designer has asked me not to do her patterns.... I’m so sorry. Hopfully she will do that one for people soon!!
SiahSwag Sorry to hear that.
I have sewn with the vegan leather, but not marine vinyl. I'm curious what is your opinion on the difference? I find the vegan leather can be sticky and a bit difficult especially doing the straps. I have a Janome Skyline 6 and it moves through pretty much everything.
I have a walking foot so I have no issues with either. So I'm not quite sure on that...
@@SiahSwag great, thank you. And thank you for all your awesome tutorials 😊
What kind of thread did you use for the bag? Great tutorial. Thank you.
I just saw in the description the type of thread that you used. Thanks
What if I don't have woven fuse 2 but woven fuse 1, would I use 2 of woven fuse 1?
You can totally use 1, I just prefer 2, but it will work just as good!
Yes any kind of woven interfacing will do the job. You just need to stabalize your cotton before you sew it for bags.
What size do you cut the piece for the single large zipper pocket. It’s different than the instructions and I’d like to try it. TIA
Is it possible to add the feet after sewing the the sides to the bottom?
Sure
thanks Siah great video, why dont you put the fold of the inside pocket to the top ? then you wont have to cut it along the bottom , just means installing the zip down from the fold in the middle
Yep that could be done as well. It’s just the way I’m used to it. So many ways to instal a zipper pocket.
Love your video's!❤ you do such an amazing Job. You make everything look so easy.
What marking pen are you using in this video?
Thank you! It is an AIR Erasing Sewline pen, my favorite by far
Hi Kassiah. Lovely video. That's the first time I have seen zipper stops. How do you fix it to the end of the zipper? Is there a tool to do it?
Just a screw!
bonsoir, j'ai pas compris combien mesurent les sangles du hauts ? merci pour votre réponse
Will u consider doing the Swoon Stella Weekender bag?
Yes!
Hi Siah, I am new to your videos but I am enjoying them tremendously! Can you tell me which rivet press you use.
Keep making videos, I stoped sewing for a long time but you have gotten me back into it. In fact my husband just bought me a Janome 4120QDC.

How could 4 people dislike this video ??? Gotta be trolls 😠
Lol right?!
I love the lazy way of doing zipper pockets but someone pointed out to me that when you open the pocket you can see the zipper tape edges inside, whereas they’re hidden when you do it with facing. SiahSwag exactly! I think I may have to ignore that person and do it the lazy way 😂 I much prefer it!
Your bag very nice bat size where
