I would love to lie down on a couch while Paul Rudd looks at me lovingly and listens to every word I have to say... But a sleeve of Oreos at night is good enough
Haha, Same here!!
I thought it was a great movie. Paul Rudd was excellent. Reese was dynamite.
Alright so here is the deal, I don't particularly love this movie, it is ok but there were a lot of things that i felt were missing. But even so I love some words from this scene. The thing that she said about comparing herself with other girls and not thinking she has what it takes to fall in love and start a family really hits home. I feel like for a very long time society and media has accentuated love and family and we have created this ideal in our heads that seems so out of reach. Because I completely understand when she says that she feels like these other girls are pretending about how great love and motherhood is. I mean I have seen people in love and mothers talk about their experiences and it sounds great and sincere but there is this small part of me that wonders if they are simply pretending. Can you relate?
Yes 🙌
