  • We are at quarters of Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal (SIM) (Montreal Fire Department) Caserne 45 (Station 45) at 5100 Rue Hochelaga, which houses Engine 245, Ladder 445, a fire investigation unit, and Battalion 145. Here, we see Ladder 445 as they are toned out and respond 2nd due to an automatic alarm at 2650 Rue Davidson. Engine 213 was 1st due. Engine 248 was 2nd due, and Ladder 448 was 1st due truck. Ladder 445 is a brand new 2018 Rosenbauer Commander with a 100 foot rear-mount stick, which was only delivered to the firehouse about 3 months ago. Enjoy the view of the response from the new rig. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on October 19th, 2019

It doesn't have to be pretty, as long as it gets the job done.

Nope, that's a beautiful American state of the art piece of fire apparatus.

Pierce, Seagrave, American LaFrance, or the old Macks. Nothing else.
