0:29 Holy crap. I can stress how mood that is. Anyway, I find it funny seeing Yamai bailing as soon as Onigashima is pissed. Your anger has to be a whole another level you can frighten a girl as creepily scary as her. XD
She’s also one of the few characters (if not the only one) in Yamai’s group to be kind to Tadano.
However, the vibe I am getting is that Onigashima only tolerates Tadano. She’s only nice to him because he is a human being (still a step up from all the others in Yamai’s group)
Yeah but she says hi to him first. She could’ve said hi to anyone that she was passing by as well, no one goes out of there way to say hi to anyone even if they knew them.
Well, so far, we don't know much about Kishi Himeko (the girl in the knight's armor) who is also part of Yamai's friend group. It could be that she likes (or at the very least, tolerates) Tadano as well. It could just be Yamai who has a problem with Tadano, especially with him getting closer to Komi.

@@demonking86420 Well, considering how popular she is (and also because she is technically the leader of the popular girls clique in their class), plus she usually commits all sorts of antics and gets away with it, I'd say probably not.
If there's one thing I know about Japanese culture, it's that social hierarchies are paramount, even amongst classmates. And aside from Komi, Yamai Ren is basically the Queen Bee of the class.
Her friends would basically be powerless to stop her. Although, Yamai is smart enough to avoid Akako Onigashima when the latter gets angry. You wouldn't like her when she gets angry.
She wasnt nice at first. When Tadano wanted to join them in some activity, Onigashima told him to leave
Tadano is good at noticing stuff, but it looks like Komi is getting the hang of noticing stuff too. Or maybe she didn't notice, but just has fast reflex.

One thing that I noticed is that they have a bad tendency to not show us that these characters are around before they have a little showcase bit on them. But they always keep it fresh with the side characters so I guess it evens out.
She is one of may fave character. Too bad she doesnt have enough "screen time" on both anime and manga
