Great job on the videos ! And congratulations to all of you on a very successful season. Was extremely proud of you for going back and finding her bull and yes she did the right thing - WTG GIRL
This is why we hunt. There is excitement and joy from hunting and fishing. This was like catching your biggest bass ever plus a few hundred pounds, but it took two weeks. Long heavy walk home... "Thank you, big man." Favorite quote...
Awesome video and great hunting to all. Thanks for sharing your experiences your positive attitudes and your love for the sport. Love to see young hunters making it happen. I love the raw footage and honesty. Keep it up your fly on the wall Rob
A lot of people can be toxic congrats on all the elk especially the follow up elk. Jitters happen it’s apart of the journey to becoming a great hunter. Keep up the good work and get back out year after year! You did what 90% won’t you actually went back out after it!
Dont feel bad guys it happens some time you did the right thing going back to look always go back and look just to make sure good job congradgulations you guys had a great season
GOOD STUFF! You are the ones out there giving it your all. Screw the haters. They are just jealous and keyboard whining. Get lost! You got some winter delicious meat. Congratulations!
To see her emotions I could tell she felt sympathy for the bull. Girl you did what you needed and came back and found him. It is archery and things can happen, but in the end you are golden and I would hunt with you any time. I've been elk hunting with a bow 31 years, and I have had my share of bad hits, but a game warden told me once make every effort to recover your animal but if you can't find it. The bears cats and coyote need to eat too. Stay safe and God bless.
Have you ever thought of being a guide for others? Obviously you're amazing at calling them in. I'm just in Springfield and would love to get out and hunt with you. My Elk spots are all in the Alsea unit.
all I have to suggest you guys didnt think she hit the bull that is when u rewind the video if your recording etc wasnt hard to tell guts were hanging out but gd hunts
Yeah sometimes you make a bad shot or a bad hit it happens with rifles it happens with bows it happens but now the haters out there will be whining and complaining but don't let him get you down you're going to feed your family with this good hunt
Congrats on the bull, but might wanna check your bow pins and make sure you’re shooting accurately, cuz it looks a little low trying to finish him off. Congrats
@@CarpenterOutdoors my question wasn't meant to be snarky, i asked about the arrows because it looked like a few more shots could have been taken unless the quiver was empty. Lighted nocks let me know right away where my shot went and help finding arrows after the shot.
Your question was fine. It was the reply I took issue with. We have used lighted nocks in the past and have bad luck with them lighting randomly and not working when we shoot them. We have thought about trying again in the future though. My brother ran out of broadheads and had snagged some of Taylor’s without replacing them so she ran out of good arrows. We didn’t realize the issue until it was too late unfortunately
Great job young lady, and gentlemen! That is what it is all about!
Good hunt, your wife did an excellent job. So good to see women get out and hunt.
Taylor here! Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words!
@CarpenterOutdoors great job Taylor.💪👍
Thanks for sharing your hunt guys! Way to stick with it on the badly hit bull. Congrats on your 2023 season and good luck this year!

I don’t think guiding is in the cards for me. I do like hunting and helping though. Message me on my Instagram if you want to hunt together some time

Its archery hunting, things happen. Especially with a bull elk in front of you.
Agreed! Bull fever is real!

Is there a poundage requirement in Oregon? Looks like she's shooting a very low pound bow and with mechanicals?
What mechanicals were you using?
Grim Reapers
@@CarpenterOutdoorswhich ones? The carnifours?
Some of us use the carnifours and some of us use the pro series. We have had success with both
Did she run out of arrows? I'd recommend using lighted nocks so you can better track the shot
Better yet make sandwiches.... poor bull suffering all night cause sally can't shoot
@@pitoperez6352 🤣 you said it not me.
As stated in the video, she can shoot. Hard to train bull fever without a bull

Nothing is worse than getting a solid hit, and you lose the trail.
Great job Taylor! Nicely done meat in the freezer girl.
You did good. You found it, finished it, and salvaged it. Congratulations. Nice bull
Thank you!
Once again you cant eat those antlers no matter how long you cook them, so go for the meat instead of bragging on what you got on the wall
