    This interview shows how analytical David is, rather than emotional. He's a professional engineer by training so this makes sense. It's an uphill battle for him as politics is largely fought at an emotional level, but he is breaking through. I hope he gets the chance to implement his ideas and prove they can lift New Zealand socially and economically. God knows we need it now.

    Great interview. I actually think this shows another side to David Seymour. He’s clearly very passionate yet grounded, and comes across as someone honestly wanting to hear the other side and willing to work with people he doesn’t agree with.

    This country has gone down hill so fast under Labour. From what I've seen of Christopher Luxon he seems like a good man, with a good head on his shoulders. ACT with David at the helm brings another thoughtful group into the mix.
    I don't like politics, I'd rather not have to pay much attention but to pull this country out of the nose dive it's in then good people need to vote for an ACT+National govt. Labour has got to go.
    p.s. Mana isn't found in dairies at 3am, regardless of how fast that single mother's stolen Demio reverses through those doors...

      Fix those damn potholes.
      After that remove the idiotic speed bumps Labour introduced. Accelerate, slow down, accelerate, slow down... couldn't cause less efficient fuel use for a nation's vehicle owners if they tried (let alone the degradation of vehicles themselves over time).

      It is a pity National are too spineless to stand against the tyranny of the minority (woke cult). I hope that stance changes when they're in.

    This is a great interview.. especially because the interviewer asks great questions and lets the answers come out without constant interruption and the new style of "gottya" journalism e.g. Tane and his smug attitude and his constant trickery... hardly journalism - just leaves one coming away very frustrated and still not informed.

      Must agree. The way Tame interviews have been getting on my last nerve lately. They are more interested in making the person look foolish than actually letting them show what they stand for. It’s so arrogant & disingenuous. To think they run this scam of journalism with our money makes it even more intolerable.

      @@MandySam13 So true Mandy - the scary thing is that the majority of MSM is funded by Labour and so are very bias ... they either do not report on opposition policies or do their best to make the opposition look stupid ... and they spin Labour propaganda. Giving people advantages over others based on race has never worked in the past and won’t work in the future. NZ is a multi race country and kiwis all need to be treated as equals , with any extra assistance for individuals given based on need not race

    During the period 2006 to 2017 unemployment was 4-5 %. During 2010 to 2013 the average was higher peaking at 7%. In 2017 the rate was 4.74% with labour force of 2.7 m. By 2022 the labour force was 2.9 m with an unemployment rate of 3.25%. So is that an improvement?

    • @MandySam13
      @MandySam13 Рік тому +3

      Depends on how the unemployment is calculated. They are even counting people with 1-2 hours of employment a week as “employed”, when clearly the majority of their income comes from benefits. This just gives an appearance of success when none exists. Consistent with many of the number fudging this government has done to date.

    I liked Jacinda but Labour encompasses to much incompetence or poor ethics, same for Greens - I love Chloe but is she on the wrong side ? Both parties at their core try to make a difference... just ideologies never lead to where common sense does. David Seymour can argue very sharp but common sense seems to always prevail and that is also consistent about him. Nats try hard but they lack leadership like the playground where an ex-CEO tries to take his career to the next level... then Hipkins... "in it for you" is that a joke?

I feel sorry for people like you who can’t see through these utter frauds. The Greens when Janette Fitzsimmons & Rod Donald ran it is not the Greens of today.
