Thank you for the lecture sir just one doubt .. s 162 os statement to police but is by witness only??? And 164 confusion and statement can be by any ..
So can it be presumed that if a person(witness in a case for instance ) wants to give a statement regarding a particular case ... he can instead of aproaching the police , directly approach the magistrate for the same ???

2 nd fir needs to be cancelled on the basis of first fir on the same cause of action. Plz read section 300 of crpc person can't be convicted twicely for the same offence.
