What are the “terms and conditions” for purchasing the bike
I just finished fixing up my favorite e-bike upgrade! a Husqvarna 701sm
The point of the 3 position ignition is for the small charge port for usb/type c.. you can just flip it to mid position to avoid turning on the bike just to charge like a phone etc.
We like both sizes for different applications, half of our bikes have big wheels and half have smaller..
Maybe take the shock out to see if there is binding in the linkage? If not, it's gotta be something different internally or defective in the shock.
Ya I think we just got a bad shock
I went into rev rides in Vancouver Washington the other day and they were telling me how this new one is newer than 2.0 Sur ronster made a video on
Great guys I just had a pop up for land you can ride on! That’s the hole problem cameras and the D nr and the to much protection for the environment and wildlife we ride a bike that is quite a environment friendly and we don’t abuse the environment
should i get this or an ultra bee lmk
Video coming this week
interesting think i have like a 1.5 cause some of the upgrades are 2.0, but still have some of the 1.0 standard tires and faceplate, still love it definitely need street tires for more speed
wtf? why do you need more speed? are you a flatlander?
Use it mainly to commute to work 5 miles back, dirt tires feel like a bumpy road all the way
@@LPhooligan oh. You could of just got a pedal ebike that's cheaper and faster and road legal for commuting. Lol pplrdum...
Faster 😂
What pedal e-bike goes 60??
Great video boys. Those hill climbs look gnarly! Very steep for sure.
Glad they look steep! Camera usually doesn’t do it justice
I am near 70 .160 lb 5’5” and have road dirt bikes all my life. Looking for something lighter . These seem decent from some reviews but I definitely don’t want a stiffer suspension. The big killer for me is the replacement battery cost$$$$ . It’s half the bike cost and poor warranty. Im still riding a 2000 Yamaha XT225 that has never been in the shop . Just oil change and about 4 & $50 starting batteries over 24 years.
Loving the camera action from Reed towards the end of the video haha
Would be great to hear your thoughts on overall build quality of the E-Rides compared to most other popular brands out on market right now. Seems to be a big controversy on the interwebs right now! Like always love the content, keep it up boys
Glad you liked the zooms lol. Build quality seems almost as good as talaria. Eride has had some issues, but for a first bike I think they are moving in the right direction🤙
Let's get more talaria x3 videos. I just bought my second one over the eride and mx4
wrong place wrong time you dmbfk. lol you think they care you just bought a new ebike??? cause they don't...
Got almost 4k miles on mine. Bearings been needing to be done at like 3700. I do a lot of high speed runs but not big doing wheelies. The rest of the guys @surronpvd can handle that. I do want to upgrade the belt just because how I ride the one I have has lasted long enough.
@@hollowedentity7097
The MX-3 and MX4 don't have that issue. The whine on the belt drives were a turnoff for me. Plus the MX-3 with the P4 controller produces 10,000rpm. No other stock motor can achieve that.
Go make a fkn video then toolboi
I care 😢
Bruh 5k new plus the charge time? why not get a supermoto or a dual sport at that point..? Mine is 2.7 seconds 0-60 and was 8k and can cruise at 90mph or the Honda Xr301 will run on ethanol! pure ethanol
Talaria with the gearbox, all the way. All these bikes have plenty enough power, so as I see it it’s all about suspension and gear box, that is if you’re not planning on making major expensive hardware changes. Still, Talaria mx4 for the win.
Good Choice
talaria and rfn are tthe best bikes made. the eride has power but it does semm cheap and it maakes clunky noises. I would daccrifice 5mph for a better quality bike like the talaria or rfn.
@@dbirds21 agreed completely, I now have over 6000 miles on my talaria mx4R, and knock on wood, the only parts that have failed were aftermarket parts from milk racing and warp 9. I definitely can’t complain about talarias’ build quality.
it might seem its going slow on vid but in person its feels like your going faster
The zooms 😂 at the end funny shit exactly what every cameraman should do when things get a little too serious. Those are both wonderful bikes. The 2.0 does. Win 🏆 in the review I second that we need more talaria 3x videos there’s a lot of shit that has to be addressed I’m about to make a bracket for the triple X that’ll hold the bash guard and still protect the controller
Glad you liked the zooms lol
Please make a video going over proper front and rear suspension settings. I have an E Ride Pro SS 2.0. I am new to the whole scene and feel like my suspension is probably not correct and I cant find any info on how to set it properly. I also want to know in case I have a bad rear shock like you guys had on your 2.0.
Yes we are planning to make one on our other channel that is all about E-Moto (How-Too) style videos. Check it out:ua-cam.com/channels/VFLABA8vqg050BLojRp6hg.html
I have a Talaria for 10 months and I just got the Eride 2.0 a few days ago. Out of the box the Eride is a better bike compared to my talaria. Build quality seems on par with all the other Chinese bikes. Honestly, none of them are that great as far as build quality, but they’re fun as hell.
Well said
Finally someone who isn't a brand loyal fun boi that speaks the truth. Talaria, suron, eride and etc. are all Chinese junk if you want to get into the weeds. It's really about what the dealer closest to you offers so that you can support locals instead of online businesses in my opinion.
Talaria doesnt hassle you over couple hundred dollar parts after spending over 5k on a bike like eride pro. Better hope you bought direct thru eride pro site or your warranty process will be a nightmare.
@@JohnKelsrer not true if you read the forums. They are replacing stuff like batteries, forks, big dollar items no questions asked as long as it's within the warranty period. That's pretty top notch costumer service if you ask me.
My chinese e bike from Razor has good build quality, but i dont have other brand here to compare
I tried the new version last weekend. It was stiff. That made it feel cheap like the x pro 250 I got the suspension sucks. Not that great. It was also a bit loud. E ride may be a few miles PH faster, but it just felt cheap. Let's just say I'm happy I didn't spend that much to find out i didn't like it. Perhaps they should go back to the old springs up front. I think the sting r is a better value. The guy I was riding with said that drive sprocket for the pro ss also came apart destroyed the belt and the componey did nothing for him. And yes, he did do his warranty, but they never responded he just welded himself to ride it. and that is a huge problem out of the gate customer service is everything. if they didn't help him, will they help you.
that's BS... If you know how to read and how to use google then you will find out their CS is pretty good you tool.
It's more than a bit loud!
230lb rider, the 2.0 suspension is actually a bit soft for my preference
Thought those trails looked familiar. The B is an awesome place to ride! Utah gang🤝🏻
amen!
Hey man, I live in South Africa, and I’ve been looking at the e-ride pro ss for quite a while, the problem is, is that we don’t currently have a place in South Africa that store parts for the e-ride pro’s. If something were to go wrong with it, what is the customer service like with e-ride in terms of shipping you products out if something were to break. I also ask this because and friend has just got a Stark Varg and the charger had broke, so I’m just curious if something like that were to happen will e-ride ship out products free of charge, if the bike came with the problem
Just a footnote. Your reviews are excellent and at a very high level. Why is the level of personal protection of the video presenters not at the same standard? Is it possible that a crash with an electric motorcycle is less painful/dangerous than gasoline?
Not sure but will explore this father.
I wish there was a place in Colorado to test ride the E-Ride Pro SS. It sounds like this would be considered a motorcycle here, so either you buy an OHV permit and haul it to dirt bike trails or you make it street legal, buy insurance, buy plates, get an OHV permit anyway and get a motorcycle drivers license.
That's how they are everywhere. People just get away with riding them
Or are you just screw all that and ride the damn thing!
The gearings are still identical in stock form 1.0 has a 15/58 2.0 has a 14/55 so you guys using a 54t on the 1.0 changed that to a higher gearing ratio. 2.0 comes with a 14t front sprocket cause of the chain slap of the jackshaft cover so if you had the stock wheels on the 1.0 with that 54t it would beat the 2.0 by a bigger margin top speed
Oh I didn’t even think of that. Good to know
Can you guys do a review on the gritshift heavy hitter mx direct mount stem with a stem lock and the right mx bars for them? Mx bar sizing is much different than mtb bars and it’s hard to find much info on that stem
Honestly we probably wont do an MX bar video, we don't feel these bikes need full MX setups and also don't really have the experience with them.
Dampen the spring by comperssing it as far as you can and leave it there a day or two it might soften it up a little
Good to know👌
Would love to see you guys mess with the shock settings some before thinking its a bad shock.. Saying they are the same setting but on a new bike isn't really comparable if the damping has been updated on the 2.0. I have the 2.0 and can get it VERY stiff with adjustments but also back it off to make it plush.
We did mess with all the settings and tried a lot of different things. It just plain feels bad.
@@Talariaboys bummer! It's funny how stiff the 45 front spring feels even though most people upgrade to like a 60 in the fastaces. Idk how they would even ride that
My new Pro SS has super stiff suspension as well. Arguably way too stiff
Strange
Great review as always, Boys! One of my riding buddies bought the E Ride Pro SS 1.0 a few months ago; when he sees this video he's likely going to be mad at the E Ride company. Can my buddy get rid of his turbo and upgrade so his 1.0 throttles like the 2.0?
I’m not sure if they can update older versions 🤷
Great job boys yeah, I think your shock might be bad. All the ones I have felt seem pretty good overall none that I have felt yet far stiff like what you’re showing.
Good to know, we will be getting a new shock
My E Ride Pro SS 2.0 is also stiff in the rear.
Try taking it out for a nice dinner and a couple of drinks, should soften right up
Love the Video Boys!! that extension plug STILL wont plug in. I swear it's like its wired BACKWARDS... I'm EXTREAMLY Happy with the Quick shipping, unfortunately I wrecked the xXx and bent the left peg mount and you guts didn't have one one the site so I was forced to order from another site lol... I was surprised, you guys have a Ton of parts... Wish your website would have been live when I bought my Bike.... Hopefully ill be building a freshy this fall/winter.. You should sell Frames, I wanna do a Frame up Build, Slowly tho...
Hmm, sorry about that plug man, we had one that way and just trimmed some of the black housing on it and then it plugged in. Sorry about your bike! Let us know if we can do anything to help!
My rear spring is so rigid too! I was gonna call the shop cuz I'm 165lbs & it was bothering me. I adjusted it to the minimum, rode it hard & it is getting more bouncy. Still a bit annoying tho
i was thinking of getting this bike over the WolfKing GTR but I'm 130 lb so if they don't have other options, ill be disappointed. I would be already spending more then I should to get the bike over the scooter and then to also have to buy a new suspention.
Every one missed the point we are here to help it’s not a pissing contest who can build the best bike because I already did 175 miles an hour
How long did it take for the eride to ship to you guys if you got it from rev rides? I live by you guys so it would be the same shipping time.

These boys have the best information for e-bikes.👏🏽👏🏽
Has anyone done a decibel comparison between the various e-bikes and their combustion counterparts?
we havent. they are just very different machines and we dont own any gas bikes
@@Talariaboys Thanks for replying. Well, how about decibel levels of the e-bikes. Belt-driven versus gearbox.. etc? I’m curious because sound is a consideration.
What tire set is on your 1.0? Are they a hard enough compound to survive rides on the road between trails?
We are running Dunlop Mx34 front and Shinko cheater 525 on our 16 rear but we recommend these!tbelectricmoto.com/products/tusk-ground-wire-e-motorcycle-tire?_pos=1&_sid=de65981b6&_ss=r
Man I was sold on this bike until now💀 I’m tryin to get my first bike and was thinking about this or going cheap and getting a talaria X3. Now I’m thinking about just going for the mx4. Any recommendations y’all?
Eride or mx4 would be my pick. both are great
Get the Mx5
Is there anyway that you can make these bikes still have full power when going up hills, seems like they cut power almost like traction control, if it didn’t do that these bikes would be way better on hills
They don’t have traction control and don’t cut power on hills.
@@Talariaboyswith how torquey electric is then if you were going up a hill started to really slow down and still had it pinned you’d think it would just spin the tire like a gas bike
Do you recommend it for commuting to work
Ya
After having a few 15kw Talarias its time to step up to the ultra bee. Hopefully the dragon comes out soon.
Dragon will be a while! And a lot bigger than an ultra
@Talariaboys I was kinda thinking it might be a good while. Do you got some links or information on those claims? Im very curious as most of what I've seen is speculation.
Can the forks and shock shock be serviced. I know surrons cant
Not as of right now but maybe in the future
Where do you get the 16 inch rear wheel instead of the 19 on the 1.0? Want to buy the exact set up
Tbelectricmoto.com
Got my 2.0 a week ago and already have 200 miles on it! Warp9 bars, brake sensor delete, and soon to be shinko 241 upgrade 🔥🔥
I have noticed the rear is super stiff like the 2.0 in your video though. I softened it up and I'm a heavier rider so it works perfect for me!
Im not sure if you guys have but a suspension set up video would be dope. I've never messed with like shock sag and all that, just been dialing in compression and rebound but ik my suspension setup could be much better!
Ya we are going to do a suspension setup video on our new (How-To) style video channel called TB Electric, so go subscribe and watch for it
@@Talariaboyswhen’s the suspension video coming out?
What website did you order your 2.0 off of? I’m just curious if you ordered it off of the TB website or somewhere else
@@jacobsmith-pf6ew got mine from rev rides with a deal for free warp 9 bars, code logang if it's still available
I just put the Shinko 241s on my bike and I love it! Those Chinese knobbies scare me a little bit on the street.
Looking to do a brake job on my eride pro ss, Does it use propriety rotors or bolt pattern or will most mtn bike brake rotors work. Looking specifically at 220mm Hope Tech floating rotors, And Hayes Dominion A4 brakes. Will this set up work ?
Hey man! We have tried those brakes and were left feeling some regret in buying them and wanted more power, our go to right now are the TRP DHR Evo brakes, they have more power and are really just a lot better for these heavy e bikes. We recommend pairing them with Warp 9 220mm 2.3m thick rotors. Or you can even run them on the stock rotors for a while. Does making the sprocket smaller help increase the speed?
It helps with top speed yes but lowers your low end torque
I don't go off-road and don't do wheelies, i prefer top speed, so i would have a bigger sprocket and put street tires.
If you just ride road you’d actually prefer a smaller sprocket, even small than 55
@@Talariaboys Ah, okay.
awesome video.
ive been trying to look for a place to install turn signal lights on my pro SS, but I have yet to find someone. If there's anyone out there that knows a place or person, please let me know by LA area
Not sure, sorry bro
@@Talariaboys thanks
Wait so did you get a bad shock? Cause mine is very stiff too
Yes it’s likely we got a bad shock. We have not reached out to Eride about it yet
Can you ride on motocross tracks and still get good performance with the eride?
Yes
I am kinda torn between getting a 19" front 16" rear tire set for my Eride pro SS or a 21" front 18" rear. What one do you guys like more physics wise? I am kinda leaning towards a 21" 18" but I don't really want to remove the front fender. I was thinking maybe you guys could help me decide lol Another question! Does the Surron Ultra Bee wheels fit Eride Pro SS?? I found a good deal on some Ultra Bee wheels.
I think the 19 from and 16 rear fits the bike very well. It keeps it small and light and playful. The ultra bee wheels do not fit the Eride pro
@@Talariaboys Right on thanks for the testing you guys do 🤙
Where did you ride today I live in Utah
i have a question, so my bike is a mx4 with a 72v 60ah S chi batt with a trops 1,000 { motor coming soon }
but wiht my stock motor i feel when im riding 40-55 mph it starts to cut out and i have to pull the throttle back a lil then its okay you know whats going on?
thanks
Dang, I'm not sure on that one, have you reached out to torp?
Yk when the front is stiffer the rear will be to right?
Not always. And if we are talking ratio's the fork is 50% stiffer and Id say the rear is 3x stiffer.
are you guys even setting up the shock sag before riding it?
The shock was properly set up.
this looks fun
Have you guys confirmed if you actually did get a bad shock or are they all like that?
It became lots softer after about 50 miles

Love your videos! I am a Talaria MX4 owner ride mostly off road. I am currently looking at the Apollo RFN Ares Rally Pro. Have you ridden this yet? Curious if this would be better than the MX4. I found a site selling them for $4400 free shipping.
We have ridden the RFN and we’re not impressed with the build quality. The power seems significant tho. I’d say that price would be pretty good for one
@@Talariaboys Thanks for the info. I will probably wait for the dragon, hopefully the price wont be too high. I really don't do much street riding, so I am looking for a more robust suspension.
@@Talariaboys did you guys ride the rfn after the stock controller flash or before. I thought the power was weak was the bike felt solid very planted connection between rider and terrain.
I don't want to spend 5k, and I'm happy with my current bike, but i think i need this anyway
Eride pro is so much better then sur Ron or any bike out there
When is the SUper SS pro going to be released!
Idk 🤷
I don’t get why people keep saying it’s the first bike with a headlight switch, the triple X has had one the whole time

I'm not sure. Id reach out to E-ride pro
Any riders here 250 lbs plus ? Did you have to swap out the front and rear suspension springs?
If you ride hard the bike will be very soft yes, I don't know if there are any new springs for the front but their are on the rear.
@@Talariaboys appreciate y'all....bike feels pretty good. Got a chance to ride it on the street and trails. Suspension was not Fast Ace but supported my 250 lbs well. Took it down stairs which the suspension really just gobbled up. Reminded me of a super plush downhill bike. SAG on the fork and rear spring felt good. Bike didn't squat too much and doesn't seem overwhelmed over rough and choppy terrain.
Springs on bikes and scooters always make me a bit nervous because of the spring rates aren't right the scooter or bike will feel like a pogo stick.
Thanks again...keep up the awesome work.
How is the size comparison to a Sur-ron or Talaria?
