- Brian flew in to Jamaica for a jam packed weekend trip and to spend some time with Alec of course!
Our adventure started in Kingston with a night out at a birthday party, followed by Brian going to his 1st Dim Sum 🥟 with Alec and his family. You be the judge and tell us if you think Brian liked it 😂. We then head to Mobay back to where our fairytale had all started at Alec’s Apartment. Before he left we also had Brian try a Juici Patty so that we could finally settle the argument of who has the better Patty… Juici beef or Tastee!
As the time apart continues we hope that we are able to report soon that our immigration process has come to an end. Drop us some encouragement In the comments!

I love ❤️ the fact that you all will travel distances for one another. If a man can’t travel down the streets to come see you, and Brian can travel across the world to see his boo, then he is not for you.
Especially in a long distance relationship you have to do whatever you have to to make it work and we for sure want this to work! But we completely get what you are saying and agree 100%. People say they want certain things and their effort and actions don’t match. It’s the sad reality of so many though.

We really do enjoy learning about each other through living the others experiences for sure. And yea driving on the left side of the road I will have no problems lol. So it’s easy for me now that I’m back home. Although I must admit I have to remind myself when I’m about to go off sometimes that I’m back in Jamaica so it’s the left I should be on lol. I will try to do better when I return to the US!

Brian, I was really glad to see that you were able to get back to Jamaica to visit with your baby. Even though it was a relatively short stint, I could tell by your demeanor that you were happy to share in Alec's space once again. Loved this video because I've taken quite a few vacations to Jamaica flying into Montego Bay with a group of my best friends! We've always taken the 2-hour drive to our resort near Dunns River Falls. I love, love, love vacationing in Jamaica. The food, hospitality, weather, water ❤❤ Now I'm ready to go back since the pandemic is subsiding. My group is planning this year's trip. I'm not sure where we'll end up going, but it'll be sometime in August. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I love your videos because they're a great mixture of relaxing and fun!

I know it was only a week but it is always good to see you two together. Alec, the Jamaican atmosphere, climate, or culture sure does seem to agree with you. We definitely know how a week can feel so much longer than it actually is so we understand. Awww thank you, I don’t know if it’s the sun or even just the happiness of being back in a place that’s so familiar but it is always a pleasure to be back in Jamaica. Happy being able to spend some time with the people who have been my core for so many years. Well this time around we are hoping for some solid news before I return which we should be getting soon (hopefully)…so we will have to wait and see! Keep your fingers crossed for us 🤞
Well I was a little confused at first with that 3 hour trip from Kingston to Montego Bay, but then I saw the buses and I got it. Because back in 2000 I flew back and forth from Montego Bay to Kingston and I recall it being about a 30-minute flight. I can tell you guys had a great weekend.
Yeah they no longer have the executive arm of the airport with smaller crafts that people might have used to travel between the two cities. The coach buses are also more affordable but driving it averages about 2.5 to 3 hours. We definitely did enjoy our weekend Earl. Thank you 🙏

We are super happy we are still able to see each other too if even for a short time. It certainly does make it more affordable being a flight attendant so also extremely grateful for that!
Oh yes jamaica is full of beautiful natural attractions, whether it’s the beach, waterfalls, or the greenery and mountains. We hope you do get to witness it in person though! Well we are due to hear very soon so we will have an update for you all very soon fingers crossed 🤞.

Haha we have been waiting on you to enter the chat Samantha! 😂. I must admit though when I have had an excellent Juici patty it has been amazing. I find certain locations though generally have this problem kind of often depending on where u go. The Juici at UWI campus and anyone in Clarendon have been very good all the time. But overall I just find tastee to be the consistent one when it comes to quality and hands down have the better loaves/ bread. But the proof is in the patty with this one 😂 #teamtastee

I stayed in Kingston until I moved last September to spend more time with Brian. Moved all my stuff back home but stay with friends or my sister whenever I do visit Kingston.

Well you can pass on our gratitude to your friend for sharing! Also, welcome to our little family here on UA-cam 🙂. Well I can definitely tell you that covid has had things slow down so much with all the lockdowns we had. I’m not sure if all of us have managed to get back to how life was before so you find it really is more relaxed than it was before. There are a couple places you can get it, with all options rounding out on avg at $30 USD. There’s MD link directly across from doctors cave beach on the hip strip, there’s oneness Health center (across the road from El Greco on top road) and just driving along the hip strip from the airport you will pass quite a few. Those two I mentioned though you can also find them on IG for more direct addresses if you need it. Hope that helps!

So is Jamaica safe for black gay couples? I've been wanting to take a trip but what I read online is hit or miss.
Hey there! Well as you would have read it can be very that…hit or miss. Like most countries, that do not culturally embrace the LGBT experience, Jamaica too has its faults when it comes to accommodating us. As I am from Jamaica, I have a better understanding of where we may or may not take the chance to go as you have to be extremely careful. Places like the popular resorts and major tourists attractions (most popularly in negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios) you will still be able to go and have the authentic island experience and be very welcomed. However, we would refrain from major public displays of affection such as kissing or holding hands. Jamaica has come a far way in terms of acceptance however, it still has a VERY far way to go. If you ever do make it we hope you have a fun, safe and memorable experience! Much love 💜
