How to make a Froebel Star

Friedrich Froebel, inventor of kindergarten, wrote about "Occupations and Gifts" - educational activities which enable children to be creative, to communicate, develop physical and problem-solving skills. These included paper weaving, cutting and folding.
This short Froebel Trust video created for Christmas 2023 shows you how to fold a Froebel star. It was made by Dr Valeria Scacchi, Programme Officer at the Froebel Trust.
To make the star you will need four strips of paper, each about 34cm long.

Compared to other instruction videos of the Froebel Star this lacks the small twist to creates a more 3D version of the final pointy fold. I am not so fond of the rather flat result here.
