I don't think this series was bad at ALL. I think people think its bad cause "Godzilla" when in actuality the story wasn't about monsters. It was about the human races demise. Our inability to let go and move forward. Those who hold grudges will forever be destined to fail and fall. The humans who could forgive would live while the MC knew he would have to carry his pain alone in the end. He was responsible for pushing his people down a spiral of despair because his hatred blinded him to any reason. I think the ending was perfect.
