    *IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: None of this is meant to be taken as any form of investment advice, it's just me sharing my journey to a million and taking about what I'm up to and the strategies and tactics I'm using to try to get there. I am almost always talking about tokens that I myself own and obviously have a bias toward seeing them appricate in value.
    Do your own research always! I'm a normal guy who makes mistakes and has made plenty so far during this journey. So choosing to blindly copy what I'm doing isn't going to lead you to just making a ton of money. I've had investments where I've lost EVERYTHING. I don't just say do your own research as a legal covering but because you really need to do your own research and make your own call. If you don't understand what you're investing in you can lose A LOT of money! Especially in crypto which is super super risky. A lot of the projects I like to jump in are really small crypto projects which make them even more insane risky. Past performance doesn't mean the project will do the same thing in the future, no one can predict the future and what will happen next. I'm pretty passionate about this, I am by no means a professional investor. I'm on my journey to a million dollars, I don't even have the experience to have made a million dollars. All this is to share my journey because I believe there is value in watching me both succeed and fail. It's my story I'm sharing with all of you, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and don't just blindly copy me😄
    Also all of this info might be accurate at the time of me recording and posting but in the future things could change. Especially in crypto things change fast, so just be aware of that. Thanks!
    I hold investments in the tokens I'm talking about unless I otherwise state I don't. Best just to assume that if I'm talking about it, I own it.

    Hello thanks a lot for the infos I’m still new to crypto and as far as I understood we need wallets to store our coins and get access to some coins that are not listed on the crypto exchanges?
    And for me now I have some USDT on my account (Binance) let’s say that I create a wallet I can use it to buy some crypto on chain right?
    Third thing if I buy a crypto coin on chain and the price goes up and now I want to sell is it still the same as on crypto exchanges thanks and sorry

    Great video, best one I could find so far thanks. It's a silly question but would you buy sell BTC ETH SOL etc for swing trading inside a wallet instead of transfarring them to Coinbase Binance etc? Or would you use a DEX? Thx.

    One more question, I have a few investments on coinbase, but when I go to transfer my funds into my wallet, it says I have $0 (of whatever coin I’ve bought) why is that?

    • @jesseeckel2
      @jesseeckel2  Місяць тому

      You wallet balance is $0 because those funds are on coinbase not in your wallet. Your wallet is different from your coinbase account.
      It'd be like if your bank account said $1000 but you pulled your wallet out of your pocket and it had $0 in it.
      If you send funds from your account to your wallet the wallet balance will update and reflect this.

    How to know which chain/network my crypto is on when using rabby wallet?

    • @jesseeckel2
      @jesseeckel2  Місяць тому

      Rabby will autoswitch for you, so when using an app you would change the network on the app. If you're doing a swap in rabby you just pick the network in the drop down menu. Does that help?

  • @prateek7746
    @prateek7746 Місяць тому

    A private key is the password you use to log in to your wallet and the seed phrase is used to login into a new device? Right?

    • @jesseeckel2
      @jesseeckel2  Місяць тому

      Not quite. Your password to sign into your wallet is just your password.
      Your private key is a string of characters in most cases you'll never actually see or use. Instead you'll use your seed phrase as an easier means of remember and recovering your private key. Your seed phrase as far as you're concerned = your private key even though it's a bit more technical than that.

    I'm new to crypto so maybe not saying it correctly😅.So my query is that on Ethereum chain if I swap then the pairing is with WETH,So can I do swap with only WETH or can I use only ETH to swap and it will automatically convert it to WETH.

    • @jesseeckel2
      @jesseeckel2  Місяць тому +1

      I think I understand this.
      So you can swap from any asset to any other asset as long as they're on the same chain. The pairing for the liquidity pool doesn't matter.
      Cowswap is the best if you're swapping on Ethereum, cheapest swap possible.
      If you wanna give an example of what you're trying to buy and what you're trying to use to buy it I might be able to help further.

      Ok totally. So if I'm swapping on Ethereum I personally use Cowswap but Rabby is ok as well.
      What are you wanting to buy?

    Thank you, Jesse! I’m brand new to all of this and am learning, I still don’t understand why I need a wallet for some coins or where to buy certain coins if I can’t on coinbase. Can you explain?

    • @jesseeckel2
      @jesseeckel2  Місяць тому +1

      So some coins are listed on coinbase while others aren't.
      Think of it like going to a store, some things you want to buy might be at that store while others you have to buy from other stores.
      However buying crypto onchain is like buying things online. The vast majority of crypto's to buy are onchain.
      Only a small limited amount are on exchanges like Coinbase.
      And if you want to buy a crypto thats onchain you need to use a wallet because wallets are how you interact onchain.
      That help?

      I use metal plates that I literally hand engraved. Took me hours. But could also memorize, store in a safe, store in a family members safe but simply remove maybe the first 3 words, etc.
