The question who is your favorite aritist, the way Mei described how she felt when she heard Ali’s music for the first time, that is what happened when I heard Mei music for the first time. It was the heart chakra song, and I felt it in my heart so deep and cried these healing joyful tears from my soul. Thank you for your voice music and the purity of your ❤

A friend sent me this link, knowing what singing has meant to me over the past few years. I didn’t know I could sing fairly well until I was asked to lead the weekly hymnsing at our local nursing home. It has become a highlight of my week. With the pandemic, the residents have to stay in their rooms and turn to channel 2, and I’m in the chapel with the pianist singing through the microphone and to the camera … no pressure, ha ha! But it’s a very nice, worshipful experience, and it’s not about me, it’s knowing that a hundred people are singing with me in their rooms, and so the focus, the intention is to worship God together.

Loved this interview with you two! Wanted to share a lesson I had this morning while listening to your music and drawing a mandala.
Lately a few people have crossed my boundaries several times. At first I stuck to my boundaries but after a while I didn't because they just didn't stop. My people pleasing tendencies had come out and I wasn't strong in my "no" and "its a personal reason." It turned out badly because I wasn't true to myself.
I realized while listening to your music and drawing a mandala today, that its a lesson in deeper compassion! I always thought of myself as very compassionate and that there are other things I need to work on but that compassion wasn't really one of them since I thought I had it down. But I learned today that creating and sticking to your boundaries is a form of deeper compassion, not only to yourself but to them too. At first it seems compassionate to save their feelings in the moment and forget about your boundaries, but in the long run it hurts you both far more. Thankyou for helping me access this lesson!

I love to sing. I have sang opera style most of my life, to myself and for myself, with the odd happy birthday for friends in restaurants for a laugh… tho most people clap and are amazed. Problem is, i shake like a leaf when i sing. Esp in public. So i just sing to myself. Sometimes when i hit certain notes or am just light language singing, i get so overwhelmed and start crying and cannot hold some notes…. The emotion gets so intense and i feel like my vessel and voice cannot hold it. Not sure how to navigate this…. I guess more vocal chord strengthening, or getting a grip of my emotions….
