เวลาเราอ่านหรือเขียนหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษ เราจะได้พบกับรูปประโยคของ Direct Speech และ Indirect Speech กันบ่อยมาก ๆ แต่เราก็ยังสับสนอยู่ดีว่าการเขียนรูปประโยคที่ถูกต้องของทั้งสองแบบนี้แตกต่างกันยังไง

ถ้าอยากจะเปลี่ยน Direct statement (ประโยคบอกเล่าหรือปฎิเสธ) ให้เป็น Indirect Speech ต้องทำอย่างไรครับ ?

อันนี้พอรู้ไม่มากนะคะ ไม่แน่ใจว่าถูกหรือเปล่า😅
1ตัดเครื่องหมาย comma ออก
2เปลี่ยนกริยานำในประโยคค่ะ เช่น said เป็น said that ไรงี้
3ใช้ that หลัง reporting verbs
4ตัดเครื่องหมาย quotation mark ออก
5เปลี่ยนสรรพนามในคำพูดให้เข้ากับคนพูดค่ะ
6เปลี่ยน tense ของคำกริยาในคำพูดให้เข้ากับ reporting verbs ตามในคลิปเลยค่ะๆ
ไม่แน่ใจว่าถูกมั้ยนะคะ อธิบายตามที่เราเข้าใจ🙏🏻
