I love the champions but a big part of their characters are the fact that they're gone and the impact they've had on each of the regions of Hyrule. Before the calamity, they were just people. Revali for example was simply just a skilled rito archer, which is why he was picked to become a champion. In age of calamity and botw we already see them become the chosen champions up until they either win or lose against the blights
Honestly, I think Links theme would’ve been better represented if you played the “Remember” track from Breath of the Wild. It starts by playing the main theme of the series, and transitions into the Breath of the Wild motif at the end.

it is Champion Urbosa's Theme actually, from the Champion's Ballad DLC, but in her memory it mixes with Zelda's Lullaby. Urbosa's Theme is another song.
