Nea boe was a fantastic song. I remember those days during late afternoons on GBC Radio 1 and 2. Safohene Gyeni is a true legend.

Wow This voice doesn’t have to go to waste his voice is so classic and so pure oh my God. He needs to be supported with the new artiste to produce a wicked song. He’s so knowledgeable and talented. I could listen to him all day. He should be invited as a visiting lecturer at a university to educate our people in music.

Another great interview from a legend. One thing I’ll say is, his song Nabo3 became a hit rather in the period 1987-1990s. I remember his cassettes were in demand then, maybe because he had travelled to Ivory Coast, I’m sure he would’ve made a fortune if he was in Ghana then. Again, he seems to beat the notion of live band music down, is he trying to say we shld encourage musicians to mime with their CDs? Anyway great interview by Hammer. Looking forward for next week’s exclusive.

You are doing an amazing job Hammer and I'm so proud been on your platform. However, that's my opinion, if a GoFundMe be created on your channel to support legends with financial challenges. It's very heartbreaking witnessing such unique talents going waste..... Let's do something to support this legends. They deserve it. Good job Safohene Djeni

Those of us who are big fans of guitar band highlife will definitely support such initiatives. Most of these legends are gone and will be great to appreciate the few that are still alive. Safohene Djeni wasn't so popular those days but nea ye boe was outstanding piece of music.
