I'm from the east and i have said all year long that Washington is the best team in the country..well not all year but once I saw them play after they started 3-0 or something close to that with all the blowouts...that's when I knew. Oregon should have been team number 4 instead of Alabama if Florida St had to be screwed over (which they didn't) . We could be looking at an all Pac 12 National championship in the last year of the conference for a 3rd time showdown.

One thing I have learned about football , high school, college and professional is that NO team is unbeatable. I'm from Michigan and am proud of our team the last three seasons. Beating Ohio state three years in a row tastes just as good as this trip to the N.C. game. Washington is a great team and anything can happen. The alternative was to take the knee, let the clock run down to ten seconds, punt and hope Texas can't score a td in ten seconds...which statistically is what Washington should have done.

Not really, only in the 3rd quarter were they outplayed. They had two turnovers only one of them legitimately forced. Yards wise wash only outshined them by 30 yards with return yards from tx likely offsetting that difference. The keys for Washington is forcing Michigan to pass. I think it was influenced by scheme but Texas run attack looked pretty effective against Washington. Another key is for penix to read the disguised blitz and pressure of Michigan. If Washington does that I think they win 31 to 21 however I think Michigans run game is too strong and it’ll end 28 - 24 in favor of Michigan.

I get Washington has an explosive offense but for four quarters I don’t think they can contain Michigan that long they struggled against texas as we saw. Why does nobody thinking Washington as well has to play defense, Michigan just played a defense who killed Georgia a couple weeks ago it only that Michigan has the best defense in the country. They are built for a team like this and wait not only that Washington defenitley can’t run the ball no more bc they best RB just got hurt and wait there’s more Michigan will be able to score at will. The keys for Washington is forcing Michigan to pass. I think it was influenced by scheme but Texas run attack looked pretty effective against Washington. Another key is for penix to read the disguised blitz and pressure of Michigan. If Washington does that I think they win 31 to 21 however I think Michigans run game is too strong and it’ll end 28 - 24 in favor of Michigan.

The big ten informed several big ten teams like Michigan State that they had the right and option to not play against michigan because of Michigan 's egregious violations ! The facts are that Michigan 's coach was suspended twice in this season for big ten violations and then just given an official letter from the NCAA telling them they have committed additional violations that requires a "letter of notice " ! All college football loving fans should be embarrassed by the deceit and dishonesty coming from Ann Arbor!

@@johnq.8167 well I would agree with you only if that “pro-set” offense wasn’t so effective beating a nick saban coached team is never easy and usually those teams are built for those very physical games where Washington gets in trouble is that I think Michigan will be able to run the ball fairly easy and throwing it as well. Espically the run bc if they are able to keep Penix off the field that works in there hands. I get Washington has an explosive offense but for four quarters I don’t think they can contain Michigan that long they struggled against texas as we saw. And the only reason texas was even contending in that game was bc of that Washington defense, I think that for Michigan offensively they got the best defense they could’ve seen by playing bama. And I think defensively that if Washington will mainly be throwing and they don’t have to worry about Penix taking off bc that’s just not what he does it will be very hard for Washington to stay on the field.
