I tend to compare my self to others (my appearance, intellect, speech, etc) and it’s just draining. This video helped me to realize that I care too much about what others say to me because I don’t care ENOUGH about what God says bout me. He says that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and he calls me His daughter, his child. He loves me and Jesus died for me and for the world so that we may have a chance to live. The only validation I should be seeking is God’s because He is the ultimate judge, not validation from the world.

I can really relate on the intellect aspect (school grades etc.), sister in Christ!! ❤ But this Christian UA-camr named Ashley Hetherington ( you may know her, if not she’s amazing :) ) once said that she lives for an audience of One, God 🌷✨ That really inspired and reminded me that He is and always should be the One I’m living and improving myself for! ^^ For His Glory alone ! 🙌🏾✝️ Maybe ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of this phrase when you struggle! ;) He is so good, He always reminds me of it! 🥹🫶🏾 God bless you, sweetie!
Here’s some more good news: You also only need God’s love, not the world’s, because His love for you is infinite.
I would read Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3. It’s a good prayer to pray, especially if this is a struggle (Which it almost always is). Joy is strength.

This really was what I needed to hear. My husband of 19+ years told me that he wants a divorce. He is not a believer and has been unfaithful to me. I am incredibly hurt, but was reminded that his problem is sin. That is the root issue. I'm still praying for my marriage and I would appreciate anyone else to pray as well. God bless you all.

"How does my perspective need to change?" I need to see the world through the eyes of sin. Seeing things the way they are and know why we are going through sin and why the world is the way it is. Wow i was just starting to read the book of Matthew this month, and i read up until Matthew 9. And the story about the paralytic man being healed by Jesus, it's amazing how every week you speak on just what I'm going through or reading. God is clearly using your family. Amen. This podcast is helping me see things from a perspective that is spiritual and not from such a religous perspective. A religous perspective has been blinding me and stressing me out. These past two days I've been sitting in grief and anxiety because of my mothers sin. I was blamimg her for a lot of things. And feeling like things were going to be ruined in my life because of her sins. For her not leading me in the path of God but instead a path full of traumas and hate. God is givng me peace watching this and I pray that he does not let the consequences of my mothers sin fall onto my life because it paralyzes me in fear. His perfect love should cast out my fear. Jewish tradition for debt was to have a document. If the document was nailed through, it meant the debt was forgiven. Read Romans 6:6. Jesus still has holes in His hands and His feet for a reason. He has and will have those holes for the rest of eternity.

Amen! My perspective needs to change when it comes to myself and others. Sometimes I would have a religious mindset just cause I’m saved and doing my need to follow God and His word, and judge sinners/ ppl of the world when I need to remember His grace has saved me by His blood and just cause I’m saved doesn’t mean I’m any better. I have to continue to learn and Jesus and love like He loves

I thought I knew what ‘perspective’ means until it was posed here as ‘Spiritual Perspective’. My Spiritual Perspective’ was helped here listening to The Word of God through Mr. Alex. Now I can under clearer the why and way of things happening that releases the burden from myself that I carry of thinking I may have caused something that was not good to happen. This was a great topic for discussion!
I read the story about sin coming from Adam & Eve, the mistake they made in the garden eating forbidden fruit. This is what my Christian mother explained to me, is the reason why there is sin in the world today.
On the contrary, I sometime view sin as learned behavior from childhood experiences and/or corrupt leadership in the family, or other systems that affect lifestyle. Things like religion, history, tradition, diet, habits, & so on.
I think you made a great point about viewing sin from the right perspectives because I recently learned about how Jesus died as a sacrifice from God for sinners to be free’d from sin. In this podcast, a minister & a prophet taught about how God honors covenants period, with not too much of a focus on the good or bad affects of the promise. I will try to post a link to this UA-cam channel & video for you all that would like to hear more about it for yourself.

powerful message! my perspective needs to change because a lot of the time i look at things through the world’s eyes and thinking “how would the world feel” if i did a certain thing. but i need to look at it through God’s eyes and his perspective and instead to think “how would God feel” instead of others.
