She’s a ton of fun, and a great electro dps (though the competition wasn’t exactly fierce). It’s amazing how a character can release, and if they aren’t as strong as Neuvilette, a portion of the community calls them garbage. Never change, Genshin fandom (please god, change).

I feel like I don't NEED her. Doesn't help that her featured 4-stars are characters I have like 30 copies of (well, except Sethos, of course) We'll see how I hold out over the coming weeks!
true , she looks cool and all , but I just don't want an electro . the only electro that i actually use is my kuki shinobu in my ayato nahida hyper bloom. I have a raiden but I rarely ever run her as a hypercarry just cuz there are so many better options like hutao pluge or arleccino
@@grassberries I think the main issue with her vs. Cyno is Cyno requires time (the cooldown on his burst) and set up (ER or particles from an electro battery, etc.) for his burst... and you're completely screwed in wave-based combat (Abyss, etc) because you need to swap to reapply Nahida's skill or whatever. Clorinde seems more forgiving because you don't need to worry about ER, just the cooldown on her skill. ...but they do seem similar in that way, which is true.
For the weird lunge, its not a bug, you just have to position your wsad fingers to the direction you want her to lunge, if you press one of these keys while lunging, she will lunge in that direction whether there are enemies or not, or you can lift your fingers and lunge directly towards enemies

I pulled to build a bit of pity for furina and won clorindes 50/50 at 20 pity and i got ethos as well and i still have enough fates to reach pity again when furina’s banner comes along as long as i win the 50/50
To be honest, just pulled her but man the lounge attacks is just dissapointment not locking on target. Her increase Anti-interruption is locked on Constellation 2 Paywall.
The trial has her on a cheveruse team , cheveruse isn't on her banner. The trial has her on whimsey and overload setup, The last minute duration nerf demolished her none dendro teams and without thundering fury she feels clunkier than some of 1.0 characters , similar damage too either way. Whoever decided on that last minute uptime nerf should be featured in a live leak video. This has to be THE most potential wasted on a character. Irrelevant in both meta and story presence, neglected in both kit , banner and even teaser. A literal filler character ala ayato , but one that the devs make very obvious they don't care about in the slightest. We got yui Ishikawa and banger bloodborne design wasted on THIS.
Clorinde's dash is actually skill issue, you have to aim where you want it to go and if you don't press any movement keys, then it auto targets the closest enemy, so you can basically go through several ennemies when aimed correctly with movements keys

She's more flexible though. Aggravate, taser, Chev overload, and hyper carry are all viable, along with others like hyperbloom or quickbloom. Meanwhile Neuv's only good team is really just hypercarry.

Pro tip: her lunge ignores auto targeting if you hold into any direction. It's a good way to direct your skill or position yourself during her uptime. If you want her to keep auto targeting, just let of the move button.
What they did to her kit and trimming off so much field time during beta is criminal. They make it easy to not reinstall when they take my favorite characters and make them unenjoyable. I’m surprised they didn’t make a bait c2 that doubles your field time or something.

Sucks because I really like her design, but I already got Shogun and a c4 Keqing. I don't need a super niche character that's just going to be a benchwarmer 99% of the time. I guess if some one doesn't have one of those two though she might be better for their account... but even so, just go pick up Shogun who is far more flexible on her next run and Keqing will come home at some point from 50-50 losses.
From this, it seems she is almost like Alhaitham (except she's useable in the overload team); strong in quicken teams, fine at hyperbloom, not so good at anything else and sucks as solo and in coop. I enjoy characters that can self-sustain themselves though, so I might get her or in the next rerun if, by the end of this patch, TCs discovered some great potential with other teams or future characters.
Her movement reminds me alot of Hutao's, so I don't think the camera issues will exist on mobile. Plus, we get a joystick, so she won't dash at a random direction.
i got her on the last hour of the banner on my second account and i'm so glad i did. she's my favorite electro dps now. maybe not the strongest, but really the most fluid and unlike keqing, actually pretty competent as a damage dealer rather than just a driver. she's what keqing should be. plus fountaine's craftable is so perfect for her that it could easily be her signature weapon
I've found it significantly easier to land the E at the right time if you watch her legs. The first 2 shots she practically has the same stance and the third fires right as she changes to a completely different stance making it a dead giveaway when to fire. Getting 6 down in combat is not as difficult as you might think unless you have to dodge.
I just got this lady by a luck of the draw and had her about 3 weeks now and build her up to rank 90 real fast. I like her very fast kicking butt powers and she is helping me to rank up all of my other fighters to 90 too. I hope their will be other new sexing outfits for her. This fighter works very good for me in open world maps and she is my No.2 fighter in this game.

Last minute duration nerf killed her non dendro teams , and they most likely removed chevy from her banner last minute too. There is a very obvious asian office politics fuckery going on at mihoyo caused by only an small skeleton crew of veterans continuing work on genshin and the rest being interns. Its no coincidence some characters get no love while others get everything. People tend to forget that humans work on these games and their emotions and personal beliefs can , has and will lead to sabotage
I wanted Clorinde bc I only have Tighnari for Quicken teams and I really wanted to use Nahida again so a huge win in my book! Tried Alhaitham and his playstyle isn't for me. Great guide btw!

Currently using her with baizhu, nahida, and furina, with thundering fury. Baizhu kinda mitigates the interruption problem and healing for furina, and boost aggravate and hyperbloom dmg, nahida apply dendro and boost em, and furina sub dps and boost dmg and create cores. Not sure if having fischl instead of furina will be better but i think it is
Just done with the c2 winning all 3 50/50 in a row and getting decent pity around 75-ish on average, character is badass so i just went for it, glad i got a good enough weapon option available and apart from Chev i could make every other comp option decently build from the get go! Time to have some fun

Bro you literally say every character is cracked. Honestly, I was going to pull for her. But she is just too complicated and there are other quicken options. It would be better if she worked like Arlecchino. Do skill then unga bunga. Super disappointing that Chevreuse wasn't on the banner. That would seal the deal for me. Couldn't care less about Sethos and have C6 Benny and Thoma so those are dead pulls. I think I am just going to skip.

I prefer Xingqiu over Kazuha in her quicken team, hyperbloom is nice but it's mostly because she gets thrown out of the window more than Scaramouche in skill stance. Oh and Kokoclam Clorinde everyday. (It's strange that her first constellation doesn't give interruption resistance tho)
I won the 50/50 and got her on 56 pity. Also i had enough wished for her weapon.. she is cracked with it... One of the best playstyle characters in the game..

I built her with Kujou Sara/Thoma/Chevy. It's so strong. Sara buffs Att%, Electro Dmg, Critdmg% Thoma shields, procs Overload, and C6 increases normal attack dmg Chevy is all overload buffing, electro/pyro buffing and shred. With Electroball it gives another 40% att buff
I kinda find it funny that her best team for agravate is nahida-chlorinde-Kazuha-Fischl Which is the essential of a vampire hunter nahida is knowledge, Fischl is the crow they come with and Kazuha is the wind that blows their coats

Her lack of team comps isn't really a real issue though.That's pretty much all DPS. Only supports can play on virtually any team. Hu Tao is lackluster outside of Vape team. Childe is straight up trash outside of international and that team is filled to the brim with characters that other teams also wants. Arlecchino without Bennett or Furina is lackluster. Xiangling without Bennett is pretty bad. Ganyu without Freeze team or Zhongli is very clunky. All DPS are limited to some specific teams.

Sucks because I really like her design, but I already got Shogun and a c4 Keqing. I don't need a super niche character that's just going to be a benchwarmer 99% of the time.
I guess if some one doesn't have one of those two though she might be better for their account... but even so, just go pick up Shogun who is far more flexible on her next run and Keqing will come home at some point from 50-50 losses.

From this, it seems she is almost like Alhaitham (except she's useable in the overload team); strong in quicken teams, fine at hyperbloom, not so good at anything else and sucks as solo and in coop. I enjoy characters that can self-sustain themselves though, so I might get her or in the next rerun if, by the end of this patch, TCs discovered some great potential with other teams or future characters.
Short rotations, hopefully there comes a double dps meta😂😂

Her movement reminds me alot of Hutao's, so I don't think the camera issues will exist on mobile.
Plus, we get a joystick, so she won't dash at a random direction.

i got her on the last hour of the banner on my second account and i'm so glad i did. she's my favorite electro dps now. maybe not the strongest, but really the most fluid and unlike keqing, actually pretty competent as a damage dealer rather than just a driver. she's what keqing should be. plus fountaine's craftable is so perfect for her that it could easily be her signature weapon
I love her with Furina. I might look into using that one 4-star Sword, but only have mine at level 70.
14:55 all u have to do is turn the joy stick backwards don't have to turn the screen so its better than on PC in this instance.
I've found it significantly easier to land the E at the right time if you watch her legs. The first 2 shots she practically has the same stance and the third fires right as she changes to a completely different stance making it a dead giveaway when to fire. Getting 6 down in combat is not as difficult as you might think unless you have to dodge.
I just got this lady by a luck of the draw and had her about 3 weeks now and build her up to rank 90 real fast. I like her very fast kicking butt powers and she is helping me to rank up all of my other fighters to 90 too. I hope their will be other new sexing outfits for her. This fighter works very good for me in open world maps and she is my No.2 fighter in this game.

Last minute duration nerf killed her non dendro teams , and they most likely removed chevy from her banner last minute too. There is a very obvious asian office politics fuckery going on at mihoyo caused by only an small skeleton crew of veterans continuing work on genshin and the rest being interns. Its no coincidence some characters get no love while others get everything. People tend to forget that humans work on these games and their emotions and personal beliefs can , has and will lead to sabotage
Its pretty clear since last year that hoyo balance department staff didn't play the game themselves.

you can fix that with direction input, simply just push the left stick (or position your direction with the mouse and hold w) and that should fix it.
Also a way I can see if I hit 3 normals during E is to see her white shirt showing up lol since she is standing sideways in the 3rd hit.

@@JoeEver123 I mean more Uptime would enable her to take more advantage of buffs from off-field supports. That's just my take on her. It really feels less uptime diminishes my joy when playing her.

first thing to do after getting new characters is to check wether they can kill Timmie's bird or not
Currently using her with baizhu, nahida, and furina, with thundering fury. Baizhu kinda mitigates the interruption problem and healing for furina, and boost aggravate and hyperbloom dmg, nahida apply dendro and boost em, and furina sub dps and boost dmg and create cores.
Not sure if having fischl instead of furina will be better but i think it is
Just done with the c2 winning all 3 50/50 in a row and getting decent pity around 75-ish on average, character is badass so i just went for it, glad i got a good enough weapon option available and apart from Chev i could make every other comp option decently build from the get go! Time to have some fun

Bro you literally say every character is cracked. Honestly, I was going to pull for her. But she is just too complicated and there are other quicken options. It would be better if she worked like Arlecchino. Do skill then unga bunga. Super disappointing that Chevreuse wasn't on the banner. That would seal the deal for me. Couldn't care less about Sethos and have C6 Benny and Thoma so those are dead pulls. I think I am just going to skip.

I prefer Xingqiu over Kazuha in her quicken team, hyperbloom is nice but it's mostly because she gets thrown out of the window more than Scaramouche in skill stance. Oh and Kokoclam Clorinde everyday.

I won the 50/50 and got her on 56 pity. Also i had enough wished for her weapon.. she is cracked with it... One of the best playstyle characters in the game..

100% BoL in the HP bar is half of the bar, so probably it is reaching 100%
To get a full HP bar of BoL I think you need 200%
this alteration between normal attacks and her E skill reminds me of wuwa mechanics
I built her with Kujou Sara/Thoma/Chevy. It's so strong.
Sara buffs Att%, Electro Dmg, Critdmg%
Thoma shields, procs Overload, and C6 increases normal attack dmg
Chevy is all overload buffing, electro/pyro buffing and shred. With Electroball it gives another 40% att buff

Her lack of team comps isn't really a real issue though.That's pretty much all DPS. Only supports can play on virtually any team. Hu Tao is lackluster outside of Vape team. Childe is straight up trash outside of international and that team is filled to the brim with characters that other teams also wants. Arlecchino without Bennett or Furina is lackluster. Xiangling without Bennett is pretty bad. Ganyu without Freeze team or Zhongli is very clunky. All DPS are limited to some specific teams.
True though. But I want to correct for Arlecchino she can play vaporize team with Xingqiu and/or Yelan and overload team with Chevreuse + off field electro character
got 4 free spins from update patch thing, about ten or so spins after previous 5 star (arlecchino), and the 3rd spin gave thoma. so jokingly, i said "who i am fusing thoma with?" as for fun i fuse genshin characters, and wasn't expecting Clorinde to pop up...
(technically speaking, in the history list, i'd have to fuse thoma and arlecchino together, but the thought of that fusion getting a shield while dishing out a ton of damage, didn't seem like a safe idea...)
(so let's ignore the thoma arlecchino fusion, and say i am fusing thoma with Clorinde.)
