"Fixing" Garbage Exit Signs

- Just a quick exit sign video. I don't have too much interest in these things, along with emergency lights, but I thought this would make a good video.
This one is for ExitSign250 who commented on my fire alarm tour of this building pointing out this brand of exit sign is garbage, and he's not lying.
My brother and I got to our church yesterday at the usual time to begin setting up for our community dinner. Of course, the first thing I noticed out in the Jubilee Room was that that two of the exit signs were out. These two particular signs have gone out several times. The first one just needs to be smacked a couple of times and it comes right back on. The second one needs the side test button pushed to get it to come back on.
These are kingdomLED exit signs. Supposedly a very cheap brand. A little disappointed in my church for installing these. The second one is pretty important because the basement can get incredibly dark without the lights on, and finding this exit in darkness and thick smoke in the event of a fire wouldn't be easy.
My local olive garden forgot to connect the batteries in ALL of their units!

I now wonder what we can do to stop the production of generic emergency lighting.

Yeah those generic no name brand cheaply made exit signs tend to have a high failure rate. I'm glad somebody went out of their way to fix them.

Generic exit sign do have a high failure rate. My local Menards has almost all generic exit signs & combos and one combo unit in the garden center failed after only a year after Installation when the wall was put in, the transformer went bad because it won't stay on after a month, the second exit sign in this video was the way to get it back on. That sign has since been replaced.

Yep, common case with generic Chinese signs, they fail. In my school, and your church. I'm sad that at my school they throw away perfect working signs with this junk. It's sad what they came to
ExitSign250 in my school when they change the signs they call me to the office and I can pick 5 to take home and the take the rest and store them for me

ExitSign250 they replaced the good emergency lights and exit sign combos at a marshal arts studio with crappy generics. Then one of them failed. But when I got my exit sign and hook up the battery the heads on the exit sign combo didn’t work. This is why don’t go generic unless due to bugged reasons. And a pizzeria replaced there old exit signs with generics.

That was cool when the lights in the exit signs just pop on when you tap them it's like there's censor but I think there should be a button on them to turn them on off

My schools exit signs have been replaced, they are those glass ones with green lettering.

4j25 LEDs are the future man. If only they made QUALITY not quantity exit signs it would be okay.
