Is it necessary to swap the face ID connector. The new screen im about to buy has it already? Thanks
Yes if you want it to work. They are paired to the device so a new Face ID module will remove Face ID functionality. It’s super easy to switch it, just do it

What was causing the resistance when trying to clip screen back in?
I think it was the cable needed to be adjusted. But not 100% sure it’s been a few weeks since I did the repair.
i buy 13 pro max bad lcd or good ones. must be original oem only.
