- Atlantis Sanya: Aquaventure Water Park & The Lost Chambers Aquarium
Atlantis Sanya is China’s premiere ‘Underwater World’ inspired entertainment destination resort, located on Hainan Island at Haitang Bay. Falcon’s was proud to be selected to provide thematic and interior design services as well as art direction for two of the resorts highly themed areas: the Lost Chambers Aquarium, and the Aquaventure Waterpark.
In the Lost Chambers Aquarium guests are taken on a journey through the rediscovered Lost City of Atlantis. From artifacts to giant ornate columns to hand painted murals and exquisite displays in the species tanks, the Lost Chambers is truly a great discovery. With over 30 exhibits to see and home to more than 280 different species and 86,000 marine animals including sharks, rays, piranhas, eels, and giant arapaima the aquarium is a wondrous environment for the whole family.
The Lost Chambers is also home to The Ambassador Lagoon, a unique marine habitat of over 13.5 million liters of fresh seawater, equal to five Olympic-size swimming pools. The Ambassador Lagoon is one of the top ten largest aquariums in the world.
Falcon’s also provided thematic, design, and on-site art direction services for the Aquaventure Waterpark, the largest waterpark in Asia. Spanning across an astounding 200,000 square meters, the Aquaventure Waterpark offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a multitude of rides and slides, restaurants and boutique shops, and even a chance to get up close and personal with live sharks and rays. Scenic design elements from the two stunningly themed Atlantean Towers to the fast-moving waterways winding through tunnels and incredible rock formations immerse visitors in the aquatic wonder of Atlantis. Whether visitors are water coaster fanatics or simply looking for a relaxed splash in the pools, Aquaventure Waterpark promises fun for everyone.
Through unique design elements, theming, and the impeccable hospitality that the Atlantis brand is known for, Atlantis Sanya truly emerges as a world-class destination resort and is quickly becoming the crown jewel of Hainan Island.
So much memories ive been there just before COVID19
we actually went there- In the underworld place you could even touch sea stars and some corals!
